Re: Treyloth
MT class isn't the problem for us. It's people not curing fast enough apparently. I wish there was a way to track who's doing what and not doing what on Searing Rot. We get him down to 50% give or take no problem on pretty much every pull now, and make it through the memblurs NP with maybe one person dying before the MT gets aggro back. But then we get hit with Searing Rot once and the MT bites it when the healers can't keep up with the heals. The rest of the fight seems easy enough so long as the raid keeps themselves in the sweet spot as the MT gets tossed around and the mob repositions.
This guy's frustrating for us though. We can do MMIS all the way to Mayong, and will probably take down Mayong for the first time tonight (forgot the blessed spikes last time), but Treyloth gives us huge problems.

Re: Treyloth
MT disease resist > 6.5k decreases the difficulty of the fight and give your dps the chance to click their cure potions. IF they are not using cure potions, they need to be kicked from the raid and told they need to have them if they want to come back.

We were in the same situation. Treyloth was a major pain for us and many a repair bills we had to pay to get him down. Cure potions wasn't enough for us. If you can control who the top 6 on the hate list are then you can control who needs to be cured quickly. Control list, time AoE, time cure. Makes it much easier, at least it did for us.

If your players dont suck you dont need to control who is the top 6, jsut have everyone ready to cure themselves.

We were just getting our first couple shots at Trey, so we didn't bother with the rooms that time. Did pretty well, got him down to about 40%. We'll probably take him down soon, so I was verifying the sequence. Thx, bro!

Re: Treyloth
I think I was running about 6k disease resist last time. I may try to run a set of higher disease resist gear next time and can probably get to 7 or 7.5, just to see if it helps us that much.
I have noticed that 6k is better than 4k, definitely. Learned that by testing with a dirge's disease mit buff. Now that the disease mit buff song is raid wide, even better.
Maybe next time we'll do better. This time around we significantly changed our raid makeup, improving our DPS a good bit, so there were probably people having to cure who didn't normally have to. But you're right, I think what really has to happen here is that everyone needs the cure traumas potions, and everyone needs to be ready to use them. I think some of our raiders are getting lax, expecting not to get thrown, or they aren't always thrown, and so they are slow to get the cure off sometimes.

Re: Treyloth
Basically time the AE. Its 20 seconds. So, when i say "AE incoming" all my DPS places their mouse cursor over the potion. If they get hit they are curing already. I manually time it with profit UIs timer. Once i SEE people get knocked back I reset the timer
So, for example.
5 seconds before AE
Me: Everyone out AE Incoming
AE hits
Everyone Cures
18 Seconds before AE
Me: Everyone In
5 seconds before AE
Me: Everyone out AE Incoming
AE hits
Everyone Cures
18 Seconds before AE
Me: Everyone In
Pretty much, the trauma should be cured within 2 seconds of it hitting, if its not, all your melee classes will take damage when they go back in.

To each his own...not everyone can be as uber as you. I gave ways for him to take a look at since obviously the others weren't working.

Re: Treyloth
Eh, no reason really for people to get aggravated with each other. Either way, I'm very appreciated of the help and insight everyone has provided. We've probably spent close to two months trying this mob with me as MT with no success, though we've continually gotten better, and anything people can offer at this point that might help us we're thankful for.
I think it's really to the point that the only thing holding us back now is the cures though. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to last against this guy with my defensive stats, and we've pretty much got the memblur issue down.
