How to zone people into a instance of EH you want? - Page 2

I am the main tank of our alliance and always zone first, on my own. Then I take an invite from someone else in raid and they zone in after me.

The brawler zones in, checks if rumbler is up, if he's not then he stays in the instance and he is invited into the raid force outside.

We have reset the timer on everyone, but even when they zone in they are in a different instance, even though the brawler is there, its almost like the brawler gets zoned into a new instance with the rest of the raid.

I think we will try pinkski idea of being in a raid, and have everyone stay way out of the way, the brawler zones in checks, everyone else stays where they are. If he's not up then everyone 'SHOULD' zone into the isntance that the brawler is in.

I'm not 100% on this, but i'm pretty sure EH works differently then other instances when you zone in. Because it is persistent, your brawler gets a 30 minute timer starting at zone in, if no mob is killed before that 30 minutes expires, he can zone out and get a fresh instance, prior to 30 minutes he can zone in and out of the same instance.

Where you guys are doing it wrong(i think, from what i've read in this thread) is the brawler is in zone and you all are trying to join his instance by entering while he is inside. I believe, if the brawler zones out before his 30 minutes is up, he will have the option to zone the entire raid into his persistent instance. You could try just by having a brawler zone in, group with someone out of zone, then zone out and try to bring his group mate in, and only receive a 30 minute lockout in a worse case scenario. If that works, you have 30 minutes to find the whether or not the rumbler is down, then get the raid into the instance and kill a mob. If rumbler is up, wait 30 minutes for a new zone, or send another brawler to check it out, and the original brawler can zone in when his 30 minute timer is up.

I believe its possible to zone into the same instance of Emerald Halls simply by making the brawler raid leader before taking your raid force in.
The command would be /make playername leader

This has been said but maybe I can clarify,

When someone clicks the EH door to zone in, it puts there entire raid in THEIR instance, if they don't have one it creates one and puts the raid in that instance.

Now when you enter EH you get a 30 min lockout, if you leave before that 30 mins you can re-enter the same instance. So the approach here is a brawler finds the zone, gets invited to the raid, he then leaves EH and clicks the door to let everyone in. This is alot easier with 2 people checking the zone, but anyways its pretty simple. Your current way just simply will not work, you can't zone yourselfs in.

Actually you can zone yourself in.. you just have be under 30 minutes :P
