To the healers, can you solo heal this zone? If yes, what is your group like?

I ask because this zone has completely humbled me.

I've done this zone both with one and two healers. One healer is doable, but I highly doubt any single-healer group could clear it. I prefer two healers simply to have one to cure while the other is throwing HOT's/wards to counter the incoming damage spike.

Best set up I've had in Nizara is Defiler Temp Zerk Illus Warlock Assasin. I think one healer could do it (maybe) if Flame Claw didn't exist. (non-cureable elemental dot) That ability alone makes solo healing impossible imo. It will take a tank from green to red if you let it tick 2-3 times without blast heals going off. Even if you had two chanters to lock down those mobs while you killed the rest of the encounter, it would still be an uphill battle. Very steep hill too.

I'm a defiler. I solo healed Nizara last week. It required total concentration, but we lived.

Besides me, the group included a zerk, a coercer, and 3 top end dps. This seemed to work for us because the mobs didn't live very long once they were pulled.

Nizara is intended to be the hardest single group zone in game. The dev said it was meant to be very challenging for raiders with the best fabled raid gear that drops in game. So I wouldn't feel too bad if the zone totally kicked your ass, it also kicked my ass before I became more familiar with it, and I have 100 percent fabled gear and masters.

ive found that furys r also REALLY good in nizara cause of their heal cast times & the amount that each heal does. EXCELLENT for spike dmg (ie. flameclaw). a guildie who's gone in a LOT more than me said that from his experience, a temp/fury combo is the best

Ya sadly, wards don't do shit against that 5k per tick dot.

Ya, and wards don't do anything to stop that dot. I just healed through it, fortunately Kobal has huge HP.

How to deal with Flame Claw, mez any of the mobs that do it, burn the rest of the group down, open with a stifle to break mez, then just chain stun and stifle to keep it from ever casting it.
