The flowers are not hard even with the cast time. The cast time on actions has affected things a lot less negatively than people are saying, and insta-click on obvious duration activities always seemed a little funny. IMO anyway.

The point was that it was likely not intended for these encounters to be affected by the change, regardless of how easy the encounter still is, or how difficult it is for someone else, etc.
It was definitely my mistake to not post this in General under the title: BUG:ALL clickable objects now 2 second cast. Perhaps if I had, people wouldn't get confused and argue for 2 pages over a giant shrimp.
In the future, if a raid is in the planning that involves having to spamclick an object to avoid an AE or progress an encounter & the 2 second deal is not caculated in, it is a potential PITA for the current tier.
Lyceum was used as an example.
It hasn't presented a real problem as far as I see, yet. It's just annoying - but I can see situations where it could become a mess down the road.
That said, though...since there's been so much talk on Vilucidae. We know that once you've left a tier, it is on farm status or for crap nights when there's nothing else to do, etc. We all know that KoS for the most part is a cakewalk for people who are currently working on EoF - now moreso than ever after the dw and raidwide buff changes.
However, this means that the voices who would normally raise hell over a screwed up encounter are slim to none. I.E. up and coming raiders, who are trying to learn and are a *really* small % of the raiding population, have the potential to be screwed when no one points out that there is a problem with an older encounter that is so easy no one "cares" about it anymore. To them, they don't know that this isn't the way it should be.
I have no idea how high you have to be to get through LoA - but for S&Gs, would you want to be mid 60's and trying to burn through that fight in crap gear, half last tier masters, with 8-12k dps raid *maybe,* 2-4 people running around kicking flowers, and try to get through that crap with 2 seconds per flower? Especially when some of those little bastards pop under the raid/named and are hard to click as it is, or you get 15 freakin flowers on the pull? That sucks for them.
It is still part of the game, people will still run into it as "new" content for them, and there isn't enough of them to raise enough of a beef about it to make much difference. That sucks. Djinn Master, too, I imagine would surely suck.
But, again, it could suck for the high end, too, if this was not an intended result and people went on designing and coding new encounters without calculating in the change. Stand here and spam click this - .5 second downtime allowed for clicking and reset, oops it's a 2 second cast. Make sure you assign someone comfortable with being yelled at as the object clicker. ;)

djinn master is another story. it dates back to when they made chanties able to ROOT EPIC!!!!, the music box is now giving him an immunity to roots for like 1min45.
i dont know if playing the instrument is taking 2 sec now. if it does now it clearly shows how SOE forsee the implications of their stupid updates

DMP's been broken since they added epic root immunity. It's retarded they didn't bother to look at their content and realize this, of course people have posted and bugged it, but alas. It's old content, nobody cares about fixing it!

Back in the old days, we'd fight the mob in the pit, with 4 people (usually ranged dps) assigned a corner to patrol for "flower duty". Even though when I kill the mob now it's done at the stairs leading back up to the gnillaw/gnorbl rooms, out of the range of the fear, I think everyone should go through learning to do this shit in some crazy way down in the pit. Not because they don't deserve to go straight to pull-taunt-stab-loot, I think they would genuinely miss out on what is a crazy encounter to learn.
I don't think our method would have been made more difficult by the 2s cast time. Just need the flower kickers to be awake.
I haven't seen anything yet that makes this change a huge problem. Only other thing I can think of that requires remotely fast clicking is Hurricanus, but I don't think that's the same.
As for the root/stun immunity change and the DMP, every time I hear about that I just have to laugh and shake my head.
