MMIS crashes

Second time this has happened for us in MMIS - midfight, half the raid crashes to desktop. *BLIP* game gone, client error.

this type of crash has only happened to my raid once in mmis, probably about 2 months ago. It was the last charm group before fighting mayong and bam, half the raid gone. Was sorta funny at first....

I'm pretty sure it's something messed up related to charms. Once had the exact same type of crash happen to nearly an entire raid in EH on the gardener. Now what exactly causes it, I dunno. Hard to see precisely what caused it when your client instantly closed out without warning. >.<

Same thing happened to us on Gardiner fight the other week. Looks like charm went off then bam, 3/4s of the raid kicked instantly to desktop.

Well, that makes sense then - we crashed on chaperons and courtesans -both charm.

Added the note about Gardener to the bug report.

The most hilarious thing is when you log back in to mmis the courtesan group that crashed you is now split into three separate non social mobs...

The other funny one is one time I pulled an encounter and my qeynos guard must have reflected a charm right back at the encounter, then I was charmed again and proceeded to solo with the ehlp of my charmed pet two of the three mobs before my charm broke. I then got owned in the face since I was solo testing social aggro of a particular set. Might post a fraps of it later :P

Seems like when someone is charmed and is forced to cast a specific spell (whatever that spell may be) somehow bugs everyone around that person and crashes the game to desktop. I think due to the nature of spells it is a blue AE that is causing this.

Just hypothesis biased upon what people have said in this thread.
