Hell, they set TTR itself up to be a new raid zone every hotfix, not just every GU :P

And I know that's exaggerating, but other than mayong, the rest of the zone is cake, so any change to him is really "the" change to the zone :P

If I`d be in a guild, which has not enough time, guts and skill to dominate a server and killing every contested as soon as it pops, I`d think scaling up any old world content is a good idea.

In my opinion contested raidmobs should be rare and tough.
The whole process of raiding contested should always be something special, a trademark for guilds who put effort in raiding and killing them.

If you want to have contested loot, fight for the few which exist, ffs!

if done right it wouldnt be the worst idea....

and..

if they would add content regularly they might even manage to avoid the be there done that effect which we have now with the current system of raiding the same zones for so and so long....

Yes, let's just make it so that we never get content all the start, and instead have it slowly added so instead we get pissed off at the start and just get lulled by the false sense of newer content being added as we go on. Wait no, I hate that shit. I want an expansion done, with either an entire worth of expansion added at a time, or nothing added at all. I can understand waiting 6 months after beating all the content for the people at the top to be a good amount of time for the next new content. But that means give the people at the top 6 months worth of content if you're going to do 12-month content cycles.

my point is mostly that you get the highend guilds beating all the content in a short time and then they have to repeat the same stuff over and over again.. thats why i said they should constantly add new stuff...

but yeah.. your right, putting in enough from the start would be even better.

Or making it so you need a certain level of gear quality to beat a mob! Thus adding a bit more time requirement into it so that the content lasts a bit longer.

it just depresses me that eq1 Designers had time for everything
and in eq2 devs cant even get shit done for a expansion launch
happened in dof kos eof

but i guess the game has not enough subscriptions

and yes there is better be some real progression its also very depressing to have stuff within a month or 2 on farm or even in less time
and Content should be really more unique like Encounter fight style design Encounter appearance design the model copy paste and the zone copy paste in this game really pisses me off
they could design unique stuff in eq1 why cant it be the same in eq2 ? I mean even copy paste from eq1 stuff would be ten times better than copy paste of stuff from heroic zones etc that is just layzyness
When I consider Demiplane of Blood and compare it with MMIS
or EH compared to a PoP zone then there is some huge lack of creativity I mean soes resources cant be that limited

I really believe that progression thing aint gonna happen
and boosting avatars to 85 and different loots I hope they changed them completley those fights are far from being fun
honest a gazillion mob spawning mob or almost perma stunning mobs like in TonT is not going to be fun that is just annoying and boring
and I see such stuff inc
because thzey dont know how to make stuff entertaining

Think that RoK bring new race and another time new 1- X levels zones. They want new peeps to come and start a new continent ,so a lot of time and resources were put in that side of game instead of focusing on 70+ content.

thu, as the game get old, and the player population too (aka more and more raiders and full grown toons) , they should dev more raid content.
Taking an old zone, and making new raid zone in it.

but , they need to continue to debug the previous content while...
