Default Avatars and Contested with RoK

When they increase the level of the avatars for RoK, are they going to skale to the level of the raid? say average raid level +5 levels? or are they just giving them a flat increase and taking out thier current loot and putting new loot in?

if they are skaling will it work like..?
Avatar at level 75-84 drops T7 loot.
Avatar at level 85 drops T8 loot.

If they are going to be skaling, why can't they buff up some of the older contested, and just give them a minimum level? so the tier they where added at/the level they where added at is the minimum level they can be and will not skale any lower.

If they where NPC until attacked and then they skaled to the level of the raid attacking them we'd have ALOT of contested, no way could any 1 guild lock them all down, loot for them is pretty easy to do, just take the loot they already have and upgrade it's stats for the level it would drop at. All the graphic testing etc has already been done on this loot so I doubt it would be that much to change, changing them to spawn at levels will be a bit harder but then each time there is a level increase you gain contested to the list and never loose any. Right now almost all of those are wasted content.

Aye, I suppose, just sucks that we loose so much content every expansion.
Would be nice IMO if we could keep at least some of it, half of those mobs just pop and depop, least this way they'd be used.

Loads of flaws with this idea. I'll just say.. No. If this happens it'll fuck up more shit.

I don't give a fuck if you think I'm stupid or not, your opinion of me effects my life minimally, the time it took to write this is pretty much where it ends :P.
I was just a wondering with them scaling up the avatars to T8 if it would be possible to do it to some others so we can keep some content.
We won't have as much raidable content with RoK as we do with KoS and EoF so anything else they can give us would be good thing, no?

Thats what the developers want! And what little raid content there is will be instanced so EVERYONE and thier mother can access it and use it.

if you like, right now we have 2 expansions and 1 adventure pack worth of content, I can't see them being able to put in the same amount of content in one expansion as we have at present, just my view though.

The raid content I'm expecting is one or two smaller zones and a few very large instances like EH with persistant lockouts, and a couple of new avatars.
