70 - Illusionist (guildie)

Now, we're all decently geared. Nothing extremely uber like the raiding guild have. Most of us have all of our AA's.

This zone owned us...hard. We knew enough not to touch the shinies as guildies have given us horror stories about the traps and shit.

Is there some special trick to getting through this zone, that I don't know about? The mobs seem to have an obscene amount of HP's for its level.

Any and all help getting through this zone is appreciated.

The two enchanters probably isn't a good mix but other than that. Zerkers can do great dps even in defensive with the right AA's in that zone. Illusionists as well can dps, not to mention the zerker would be damn near capped in haste and dps. That group should own Nek3... :P

LOL...we generally run that zone 2-3 times a night. Takes about 15-20 mins each run.

I run that zone 0 times a night, just like I run Nizara 0 times a month and kill the FC 2x with my power proc item 3-4 times ever in my life. Call me cranky at the lack of participation from my fellow players. Except Nek3, like I said. All that way for a fucking apron and a wood chest? hellz no

How can you not love that zone? Takes 15-20 and drops 70 masters. I've seen Ice Nove, Archlich, Inspiration, Decapitate just to name a few. It's great!

Sounds like a bug if a bullshit instance is dropping the best spells of the game. Better get that fixed.

Just drops 70 masters, I'm pretty sure it has the possibility to drop any of them but I also do the zone more than anyone else.

15-20 minutes daily for a reasonable chance at a level 70 master? I hand a Certificate of Bullshit to any person who complains about progression without mentioning Nek3.

You neglect to mention that the zone can only be done that quickly IF you know the zone and do not suck. A pickup group of a bunch of newbs wouldn't cut it, even a group of decent players on their first Nek3 run wouldn't do it in near 15-20 mins.

edit: and would definitely fail the doll quest which is another chance at a master.

Both of these things can be rectified on subsequent runs. How many times have I seen dumb fucking n00bz linking 70 masters to channels followed by OMG OMG OMG?

I suppose but did those newbs get the master from Nek3 or from HOS/PoA?
