better xp grinding eof zones or doing the solo quests found all over Kylong Plains.

Unfortunately, KC is the new SoS. With crappier XP.

The mobs in there hit too hard compared to KOS/EOF counterparts, with about 2x more HP. I got more experience duoing Den for 2 hours than I did in KC for 4 hours with a KOS fabled group.

Agreed that the experience is lacking, but there is some loot. Legendary BP off Xalgoz, named Ghost dropped a nice healer belt, but I havn't seen much else unfortunately. My guild group server discoed the Cloak on LDL from the heroic quests outside, but there was literally three quests from each guy and we were done in a couple hours. I see no reason to go back. Really, the problem with the zone apart from the low experience gain is that it's too small.

SoS is huge, Karnor's isn't. Takes you 5 minutes of fighting to get to the bottom/back of the castle. You could never do that in SoS. What would have been better is a second, under-ground dungeon linked to Karnor's in addition to the raid zone.

I think the really awesome part is how the quests outside give 1g and like 1% xp for a reward when they take like 30 minutesish to do because you ahve to hack your way to the back of the zone again and again and again. In comparison, you get 16g and like 1.5-3% xp for SOLO quests in Kylong that you can accomplish in 5 minutes.

Brilliant design. The quests on beta gave like 1pp, now I can understand thinking that's too much... but 1g? come on?

SOE has turned the game upside down and RoK looks like a FPS instead of a MMORPG.

Ok first off, I dont know if your trying to be an ass but you sure sound like one. Second, no it wasnt that easy to figure out for two reasons. One, I already said we pulled it out of the room so we saw no green shit coming out of the room we couldnt see. And two, those buttons were not clickable nor did they light up, maybe they become clickable at the right time... but they weren't when we were there. Anyways thanks for your helpful yet rude response.

lets get back to the subject, Karnor's Castle. So what named/events/drops has everyone encountered? Which direction and which castle-level for named/events?

when i went in, we started heading downstairs, through the throne that opens like a door. around the corner, everything just turned black and we got a message that the zone wasn't up... what's down deep?

if ye had a message that the zone wasnt up deep down in KC i think ye got to the entrence to exection room (raidzone) that wasnt in yet. only thing i can think of ....
