So, the big question is... are we going to have "jump the shark" moment in EQ?

Pinski, explain the problems WoW is having with tiers.

I voted for the 2nd option because EoF is boring to me already. Though I dont know if it will cause me to quit or not.

The expansion shouldve just been called "Level a Fae"

Koenig, if you don't like EQ2, why don't you just quit now rather than being a total assfuck about it? Seriously, all you do is post crap that is anti-EQ2. You are the Utalayan of these boards, so please quit just being straight anti-EQ2, and OMG WoW is UBER. Guess what, I bet WoW is going to have the same fucking problems that EQ2 has been having once TBC is released. Why? Because it's obvious just from reading all the pro-WoW people's posts that they are running into the same things EQ2 has already experienced.

Seems like everyone who quit got invited, maybe it's a new marketing attempt.

Yeah, I got an invite. I logged on, made a fae, did some quests in Teldrassil, I mean Greater Faydark then buffed it to 70, looked around Duskwood, sorry, Loping Plains, then uninstalled it.

I've only done the solo stuff, but it reminds me so much of WoW. The Fae starting zone looks and feels so similar to the Night Elf one.

Actually, the WoW zone would be like the EQ1 zone, lol.

4 instances, 2 dungeon contested, 5 overland contested and the avatars, supposedly.

Enough?

No one knows yet.

Emerald Halls should take a night probably, because the layout is so big. Clockwork Menace Factory is "KoS challenge" according to Lyndro with everything else scaling up from there.

If you do an instance a night you're at 4 (which most hardcore guilds will prob do Clockwork and Freethinkers in one night) not counting contested.

No, because Greater Faydark in EQ1 and 2 are completely different. The zone has completely changed, and the look and feel has FAR more in common with Teldrassil than EQ1 GFay. The only similarities I can see between the zone in EQ1 and EQ2 are the Kelethin music and that both zones have trees and orcs.

If they quit why do they keep signing up for the betas? After 1 or 2 disappointments, why bother if they think its that bad? If a person is constantly pissed off about the raid content, why not just cut it lose?
