No, from what I've seen, EoF raid content sucks, and this may be the last straw for me.

Yes, the new EoF raid content owns, and will renew my interest in EQ2 and be a big boost for EQ2 raiding.

Does EoF have enough new RAID content?
Now that the NDA has been lifted, from those who've seen this and know, I'd like to hear some feedback.
Is there enough content in KoS to keep top raid guilds busy 5 days a week?
Is there enough to keep to raid guilds challenged for at least 3 months?
Or is this a deal where we can kill everything that goes live with KoS in a day or two, and then have to decide whether to log for the rest of the week, or (ugh, perhaps even worse) continue to raid-farm KoS?

The vote is multiple choice, please don't act like a retarded 12 year old and intentionally make conflicting choices.

Last straw, theres 4 instanced zones where one is level 60 and two contested plus the avatars (which is an issue all by itself), already hit the cancel button.

Snark, what is there to do for the other days each week? Do raid guilds simply become casual, and only play a couple days a week now?

Roll a Fae, obviously.
Just playing with you, sortof. Being that the Avatar spawns are unpredictable and based on global favor, I can't really say how often they will spawn. But they spawn with buffs that make them hard for a period of time, which could be a day or two or more, meaning you will have to wait to learn/kill them.
As far as isntances, people are clearing them on Beta and from what I understand there will be one 'difficult' zone. The loot I saw dropping from raid zones is what I would compare to stuff out of lyceum or Labs, or the drops on the worse side of the 3-t7-contested loot tables (worse half of hurricanus loot, for example).
If you did all tier7 raids including KoS/FD/EoF, you would still be left without days of anything to do. So, in all honesty, I think they expect you to roll a fae and level to 70. Because thats what 95% of EoF is - leveling content.

Re: Does EoF have enough new RAID content?
Haven't raided or tried to raid in beta, so I didn't vote on this one, but here's a couple of semi-random thoughts.
I zoned into one of the two intanced zones I heard about, and it *looks like a raid version of Lfay. I feigned past the first couple of mobs and looked around a bit, and unless I'm way off, this zone should be on par time-wise with DT, and I'm sure a similar lockout. As for the other raid content, no clue.
Secondly - in a couple of weeks of very casual beta play, the one thing that came to my mind over and over was "well, this'll be a great expac to level my alts in", and I hate alts.

From what I'm hearing, it sounds like the main result of EoF is to convert EQ2 from a game for both hardcore raiders and casual players to a game mostly for casual players. When I say "casual", I mean players who can max their character in terms of loot and progression by playing 2 to 3 nights a week at most.
EoF really seems like it shifts the emphasis of the game squarely toward casual players. Do they actually expect hardcore raiders to continue playing, and just "hang on" for another year? lol.
I guess they hope to increase players initially by having better, more fun leveling content. Unfortunately, the same thing will happen when those new players hit the level cap that has already happened with us. They will see that EQ2 has no future, because it doesn't have a high end game of current content that can occupy a guild of hard core raiders 5 or 6 nights a week.
Now, you can hit the level cap, get fully geared in a couple months, and after that, your stats will be within 5 percent of the most hardcore players in game, because all your gear is virtually identical, since any guild can kill the monsters that drop it. It doesn't seem like EoF changes that at all.
If EoF gear is basically as good or not really much better than what can be farmed in KoS now, I think that's going to be the end of the game for a lot of people. There is no way that I'm farming DT, Lyceum and HoS for the next year just so I can also also farm EoF a day or two per week.

I do not see how people could do it for even another month...

Re: Does EoF have enough new RAID content?
They want the WoW crowd, they've been chasing them since DoF.
This expansion is so badly timed, i mean if the game had been like EoF from the start i think it would have blown WoW away, its everything that should have been.
But releasing this as their thir expansion is stupid in every way, talk about catering to the wrong crowd.
It wouldn't surprise me if we see a NGE of some sort within a few months.
