it was so much better when there was no feather on top of an NPC offering a quest (i know it s possible to disable it but how many people actually disabled it?)

Since you seem to need things spelled out: that comment by Scott Pinski linked means NOTHING FROM THE EPIC QUESTS IS IN GAME YET. That's how you know that's not the epic quest line. The other way you know it's not the epic quest line is that we know there's raid flagging and the description says "RAID PROGRESSION quest starter."

BTW, this is the eq2flames site. If you can't do better than "go back to Wow," maybe you should stick to the official forums.

First of all, the quest does not give you access to any raid zone - that's not the way raids are accessed, though depending on semantics you may say that Trak is reached via a 'quest' but its different than what the average 50 IQ dumbfucks on this forum would brand a quest.
Second of all, those who claim that it is still something other than a raid progression quest are fucking retards.
Third of all, I don't have a third of all, but you can still fuck off.

How are raids flagged then? Just curious.

That guy is dumb. This is how raids are flagged. They are flagged exactly like the DT access quest. To get into the T2 zones, you have to finish this quest(which isn't that hard besides the raiding part once we saw that door). Grats! Then to get into T3 zones you do the next quest, and for T4, same thing! Getting access to Trak's lair isn't really a "quest," but rather a flag quest. As in, kill everything in Veeshan's Peak and you will finish your quest and be flagged for access into Trak's Lair! Oh, and it's 100% required, or you don't zone in. So good luck big guilds and anybody with apps.
