If it's way too hard, still lots of people will complain about it.

Don't forget PoP in EQLive, the flag progress made casual guilds can't even step into nearly 1/2 zones of the expantion.

I think they will keep scaling the difficulties in few months.

So before everyone screams that this stuff needs it's difficulty increased or we're doomed remember that not everyone has had early access to said content. Only when the non-privilaged have a shot will we know whether the content really needs tweaked or if it's just a matter of the illusion of gimp content.
Didnt have a raid in beta - sorry to burst your bubble, we are in T4 - so T1/2/3 too fucking easy period.

I think the problem here is that they got lazy with tiers 2& 3. IMO the way the progression should have gone is as follows

Tier 1 - Three zones of standard labs, HoS, Deathtoll (For casual pickup types - Drop Rok equivalent of Relic)
Tier 2 - Three zones of standard FTH, MMIS, Chel'drak (Fairly decent gear drops in here for gearing up towards tier 3 - The slightly more skilled casuals can do this.)
Tier 3 - One or two very larges zone like Emerald Halls (No way any casuals should ever make it in here. Real strats involved in every kill, no Sarik the Fang mobs)
Tier 4 - One absolutely massive zone with rock hard named. Named of the standard of the toughest contested. Only the truly hardcore raiders stand a shot in here. Everyone should have fantastic gear, resists or you just get squisshed. Once this zone is complete you get access to the final boss zone

What they actually did was as follows
Tier 1 - Three zones of standard Labs, Lyceum, HoS
Tier 2 - Two zones of standard FTH , CMF
Tier 3 - One zone of standard Chel'drak
Tier 4 - One large zone bigger than EH (not enough info on this...)

It should have required way more work in tiers 2 & 3 but the zones are just too short to present a challenge to Avatar/Contested geared raiders.

Obviously you don't know shit, since The Leviathan is gimp as fuck, easier than T1, it just stands there waiting to die. Comparing Leviathan to Chel'drak is like comparing Anguis to Nagafen.

It should infact be:
Tier 3 - Free loot.

One mob, small zone. Chel'drak stands there waiting to die once you are EoF geared. Are you saying that Cheld'rak was a challenge to you near the end of the expansion?

Are we at the end of an expansion now?

Should a T3 RoK mob just stand there waiting for some EoF fabled people to kill it? 2 weeks after the expansion came out?

I'm almost glad that we're slacking.

No it shouldn't , we are on the same side here if you actually read the post (except for Huxley who seems to have his own side )- Look, we can sit here all day and nit-pick at various aspects of my post or you can just look through to the underlying point that tiers 2 & 3 are too easy. Everyone agrees that. Obviously Huxley is gonna say something about each of my posts because he has nothing better to do all day but stalk my posts looking for ways to tell me they are wrong. Whatever floats your boat hux ;)

Really, get to tier3, then tell me it even compares to chel'drak, hell even chek'drak is more of a challenge than the Leviathan, and it's a whole tier lower!!

Was Chel'drak killed within 3 weeks of The Fallen Dynasty going live? Was Chel'drak first or second pulled the first time people saw him (within KoS/TFD time, not EoF)?

And No, I don't sit here and stalk your sorry lame arsed posted, fact is you probably struggle to clear t1, then I doubt you will clear t2 unless they gimp it some more, furthermore you only have "Hear-say" to go on for your assuptions, which are quite frankly a joke.

Tier 2 isn't "Easy" for most people and I doubt casuals will pass them anytime soon, Tier 3 is a laughable joke.

Zone design in RoK is completely different to what we're used to. Truth be told it's much harder than any KoS content was at release, that stuff more or less just sat there and let you hit it until it's hp hit 0.

I'm not sure where 'casual' guild progression is going to be on this expansion, because as 'easy' as it is, for at least VS and Overking you can't have retards in your raid force who have nfc how to play EQ2, this is a far cry from the rest of the game, where I have frequently boxed up to 2 toons for encounters because it didn't ever matter if someone was at the keyboards actively paying attention or not. Haven't hit tier 3 as of yet so can't speak of it, but I'm told it's broken insofar as it's not scripted and just a big bag of HPs, kind of like KoS. In any case, I would hate to have to box my alts for needed buffs/whatever in some of these raids. :p
