This zone is the complete suck for healers. Most of my guild knows that I won't go in there without a druid who has the group cure elemental period. I went in with an inquis and we took turns curing..I swear I was getting carpal tunnel. I agree its not challenging to spam cure..its just downright stupid.

For some reason SoE thinks having the healers chain cure makes things challenging.

Here's a tip, don't cure it then? Because I mean, it's not like it really hurts all that much. All you need to do is cure it off yourself as a healer, and let the DPS classes deal with the extra mana usage.

Im sorry I don't have a charater in tier 8 atm, currently in the process of rerolling my templar on another server. But let me get this straight, this zone has a debuff like castle mistmore, thats instead of spell casting speed debuff, it makes you eat more power? If that was the case with my other templar who had enough power proc items to never run out of power without sprinting or massive power drains, I wouldnt cure it period even on myself. Honestly the effort of curing it would be counterproductive to what else you could do by ignoring it.

I dont even cure myself... Except when I am about to Canni.... if you forget to cure before the canni... then ouchies... 70% health lost

Why would anyone bother to cure a debuff that will land again in 5s? I mean... what is the point? You waste more power with the cure than you save by removing the debuff....

It depends how fast you move through it.

Imho, if you do CoA in less than 1h, you have to cure.

As a mystic I have a love/hate relationship with this zone.

My debuff "Slothfulness" triggers each time they AOE, meaning 3x triggers of 500-600 damage. But without a group elemental cure, I tend to bring a druid anyhow while I dps.

It makes me wonder though when I beat scouts / mages in the parse.

I got herbalism maxed. It's almost insta cure on whomever I target & usually no pwr used. The debuff also makes you cast slightly slower if y'all hadn't noticed.

I'd like to meet the dev that thought this would be "challenging" or "fun" so I can show him/her the error of that thinking.

I think he thought it'd be interesting. And in fact it is. Considering you don't have to cure it, you can deal without curing it.

The zone require little to no healing, at least with the elemental it gives priests something priest-like to do. Any healer that doesnt cure this debuff everytime it lands is just lazy, unless you are running the group with 2 power regens =)
