I see this debuff as a distraction you do or do not have to cure.
If you dont have a power regen in group you have to cure.
If you do have at least 1 power regen you do not have to cure.
If you have some good stifling classes you dont have to cure.
Some healers get so distracted by the dot they feel they have to cure that they waste more time curing then anything else.

newsflash you dont have to cure heck even in some raids some debuffs are not worth curing.

you do realise that stopping curing and waiting 60s will have everyone at full power? You only need to do that once for the zone.

Just cure the MT. If you have any kind of dps he's the only one who will run out of power anyway.

I play an 80 zerker and a 78 Illy so I have seen CoA from a few different perspectives. I blow thru power here as a zerker but on my Illy I can almost 100% shut down the double power cost dot. I am sure a few other clases can chain stifle or time stuns. It really helps if the tank or another group memeber leads ea encounter with a stun or interupt of some kind.

The curse wasn't an issue for us last night. Our group makeup, all level 77+, consisted of a Zerker, Templar, Dirge, Toub, Warlock, and a Brigand ( myself ). We crawled through the instance pretty fast, and we only had one mishap on the Emperor when the tank LDed. Our second attempt was cake.

I cannot comment if the Templar was constantly curing or not; I really wasn't paying attention on how much he was curing. He was a damn good healer.

Ran the whole zone in less than 1h last night. Group was 80 zerk(me) , 80 dirge, 80 troub, 80 swashy, 80 templar, and 74 necro. I didn't even notice the curse last night and we had no down time between mobs. Think our total fight time was only 30mins and the emperor went down in 54 secs.

Not sure of the templar was constantly curing or not, but he was doing a fantastic job. We don't usually have an issue in my guild getting healers to run this zone. Our templar, our inquis and 1 of our furies solo heal this zone atleast once every other day for a couple of groups.

Illuminator

The cures are tolerable, it's dispels I can't fucking stand.
