What Ishbu and Gaige are doing is classic. They are setting themselves up for failure. While I have a great deal of respect for their guild and their accomplishments it is obvious what they are trying to do.

No matter what we tested, No matter if we spent 99% of our time in beta testing current KoS content to make sure the combat changes were working as intended, no matter if those EoF raids got completely revamped, no matter if there were encounters or zones that we never even saw, no matter if combat was completely revamped multiple times, no matter if mobs were revamped multiple times, no matter if there were more full guilds invited to EoF beta then in any beta before, no matter if there was no way to get to EoF until very late into beta, Dissolution will continue to make excuses for their sure immanent failure.

What Dissolution is trying to do and has been trying to do even before Beta started is they are trying to set themselves up for failure. They are foreshadowing defeat and trying to give themselves excuses in advance. When it happens, they will say "I told you so" regardless of the actual circumstances.

God forbid a guild actually tries to help test things for the good of the game and not just use beta as a "sneak peak" to try and learn every single new encounter before they go live.

Exill you know I respect you and your guild. My simple point was you guys did Emerald Halls before most people were even copied to the beta server.

Exil take a look back, it was your guild member who brought up this whole beta conversation.

But while we are at it, lets see what your doing. Your trying to downplay the FACT that you have beta tested the new raids, the FACT that you have information that no guild outside of beta has that gives you a distinct advantage. To say that it doesnt is complete bullshit. I know, I was contemplating joining NPU is KoS beta, Ive seen how it worked and after the gorenaire encounter was spelled out on a silver platter I never logged back into that beta so I wouldnt have any more content ruined for me. I was there for one freaking raid and I saw exactly how much information you are given.

I notice you dont proclaim in your posts how your guild is all buddy buddy with roger the guy who designed most of the raid content in EoF and all the TFD raid content. How roger tells you when he's changing things so that you can try it out for him, even on live servers. How come you dont talk about that?

You have tons of information from beta and directly from a designer of the encounters/zones and all you can do is downplay it because it is a major advantage. Of course you have to downplay it because if, lets just say, Chaotic Legion beats you on every one of these encounters (no I do not think that will happen at all), you would look extremely pathetic. So you have to downplay your beta experience but anyone with a clue knows about how helpful and how much of a leg up it gives you.

If you really only cared about testing the combat changes for them, you would have declined every being brought into emerald halls and declined being shown mayong, etc. You guys did not decline because you wanted to try them, to see them. You knew full well you could get information out of it and how much it will help.

Will Dissolution fail? Fuck no. We will be among the first completing everything if not the first as always. We did not beta test this stuff though. Im simply saying, since your own guildmate brought it up, how youve had over a month of time getting accustomed to the zones and can digest what you saw and learned first hand that 99% of the guilds out there did not get to mill over. That is a fact and I already posted the screenshot to prove it.

Ishbu you're trying to glorify what beta testing we did do.

You are trying to make it seem like we spent over a month trying EoF encounters over and over and over when in fact we did not.

Through your blogs and your posts you are constantly trying to discredit any guild who helped participate in beta and saying how much of a HUGE advantage the beta guilds have. What you are doing is just like I said, you are setting your guild up for failure and if by chance you don't fail you will use it as an opportunity to claim vast superiority. You're setting yourself up for either situation. If you get beat to world firsts by any of the other big guilds you are going to say "I told you so" and try to discredit their kills. If you happen to beat the other big guilds to a world first you are going to say something like "the other guilds are pathetic, they beta tested these encounters over and over and over, had a huge advantage, but we still beat them!"

We are not NPU, this is not KoS beta.

We raided LIVE servers daily, still doing DMP, DT, Cheldrak, Matron, MO, 3 Princes, Lycium, Labs, Halls of Seeing, etc and THEN in our FREE TIME we would go over to EoF beta and test KoS content all over again.

Like I said and I will say it again 99% of our testing in EoF was actually of KoS content and I have clearly demonstrated that in my post above.

If we get a world wide first in EoF it will be because of hard work and dedication, not because of anything we learned in beta.

Stop making excuses.

World wide first not because of anything you learned in Beta? Please. What kind of bull shit is that? So hey, let's give your guild the strategy and allow them to test it for a few hours before anyone else. Of course, you guys will claim that it didn't help you in any way, in fact, you'd probably claim that you didn't learn much from beta.

There's absolutely no doubt that guild benefit from beta testing, that's like saying insider trading doesn't benefit anyone in the securities market. SoE basically gave you guys the World Wide first on a silver platter, don't deny this. And as for "helping" the game, ... oh yea.. the game is in great shape... Don't make it seem like being in beta is a burden, because I can assure you that many raiding guilds would gladly take your spot instead.

Yes, there is a benefit from beta testing. You get to learn the layout of the common zones, you get to familiarize yourself with the new combat changes, you get to pick what AA paths you want to go, etc.

While I cannot speak for any of the other guilds in beta I can speak for my own guild when I say that we rarely tested EoF content.

Gaige why don't you have your little pal Moorguard do a little digging, find out exactly how much EoF content we did, i'm sure you will be unpleasantly surprised.
