As much as we had our troubled past i aint disagreeing with you just to disagree with you. Most servers dont have 2 guilds that could dominate about 1/3 or more of the servers such as Butcherblock did (which i know you are referring to) When Strike was healthy (which the server transfer did not help them seeing not all went with them and recruiting went down.) They could have been a top guild on many servers. Personally i feel going to LDL really hurt them more then if they went to another server.

I think good criteria for a top raiding guild should be

Getting their own server firsts on ALL contested and important instances(deathtoll, vyemm, cheldrak).

Being in the top 3-4 worldwide on multiple contested/instances(with bonus for world first).

Killing dmp in t6.

They are a guild on Butcherblock. Went through some struggles at start of T7 with MT leaving the game along with other key classes and known to be some cocky motherfuckers.

The only reason i think people even think about them in a top 5 point of view is because they got WW 4th on Matron and WW 5th on Cheldrek. (Does EC's kill even truly count?)

(I'm not saying that WW 4th and WW 5th is something to brag about on a WW level im just stating facts.)

Yes it shows tynal for getting discoverey on Butcherblock but that was their temporay new name when their name got mass petitioned and changed 1 minute before their Matron kill. They were known as "The Tribunal" before that.

lol snark, what the fuck did arirang ever do, they didn't even server 1st chel or matron. Only thing they ever did was DMP.

And trust me, half of malice's ww 1st used exploits.

Hen, I'm not trying to start this into another one of "those" threads. But so many servers have 3-5 guilds camping contested mobs, so you really can't say that.

I just don't see how you can argue a guild is a top worldwide guild when they don't even server first several major mobs on their own server.

Now, I think if the list was who were the best guilds of alltime on eq2 you woould have to include malice and a few other guilds who arent around anymore in the top 10.
