Well After doing my tribunal questline today, I saw what I can assume will be the Avatar for the tribunal, The Seventh Hammer. He looks much like Valor, but has his helmet on, and carries a really nice looking hammer, which glows blue. It's rather small, so I assume it's 1 handed and might be a super good brawler weapon. This lead me to ask the question: "Where do the new avatars pop?"

Anyone know?


EDIT- I saw the 7th Hammer in an instance for the questline's final quest, so no I didn't see him out in an openland zone.

when you do the Karana quest line the two "Avatars" spawn and fight each other. two spector type ghosts that hopefully just lack their models =/

Anyway, Avatar of Storms and Avatar of Plague(s) as you might have expected. Although sticking with tradition i'd expect the tribunal's avatar to be Avatar of Justice.

I just hope none of them spawn in TD... i hate that zone.

Well Tribunal's might just be called the 7th Hammer. But anyway,s he had a nice model.


And teh questline starts in Timorous Deep, near the newbie area. I also saw Karana's starter in TD also.

iirc the 7th hammer is the 'boss' of The Tribunal. There's 6 other shady looking chaps in robes, in EQ1 they looked like wraiths with fucking massive hammers.

I would expect The Avatar of Justice, not a fight with the 7th Hammer himself.

Yeah, it'd need to be an avatar. A fight with the actual Seventh Hammer would be lore rape and stuff.

The Seventh Hammer is the "reaper" of the hammers. The 6 other members of the Tribunal decide the fates, pass the judgements, etc. The Seventh Hammer goes outside the plane and brings people back for their judgement, and IIRC, is oftentimes involved in executing the punishment itself, depending on the crime (but not always).
