I said this in what T6, having mobs hit hard doesn't make them hard, it just makes them random.
Also Jaraxx, you may not know it, but Divine Aura is near useless in VP due to the 50% limitation on it. If your Healers can't heal through the small hits, then I don't know what to say, but DA will do nothing for those double 14k attacks.
