seriously, all testicles aside.

From a healer standpoint, this is not fun, this is not necessary. With this kind of gameplay you are going to see raid healers burning out very very fast. Plastering your face to your MTs health bar waiting for a 10-16k shot and spamming heals is so goddamn stressful and frustrating, especially when they can get double attacked and die anyways.

At this rate, im going to have to start doing yoga to relax me from my hobby. Hmmmm, isnt that what my hobby is suppose to do?

Its fucking retarded that they designed encounters for this expansion where you need absolutely 0 healers in a group as long as theres no tank in it. There is literally nothing going on in these encounters than BAM 30k, better luck next time bitches.

I'm just going to ignore group 5 on this.

Moving on:

I feel ya man - I know it's gotta suck as a healers view as well to have your tank randomly killed but all this really does it take less focus off the MT group and more on your secondary tank group. Once you've accepted the fact your MT is more then likely going to die on fights like Silverwing it really isn't that hard to work with it - it's doesn't matter that the MT died - keep the ST up now. The mob heals 2% and the new guy steps up. It's all about your execution and how you handle the situation.

Now let's be real here - do you honestly think SoE is going to change the mitigation curve anytime soon? No - it's probably not going to happen at all or if it does it's going to happen in later months. SoE simply doesn't give a fuck.

Think about it. All the mobs in VP - the only sort of challenge they have is how hard they fix. Remove that and we will start breaking up raids into two and just doing VP with two groups instead of 4. I have no problem if they fix the mitigation curve as long as they find alternative ways to make those mobs even tougher. Give them more unique scripts like Silverwing. But the entire zone should be revamped if they are even going to touch mitigation. That's the only challenge in this zone.

Relax folks! I'm on your side here - I just don't want to fucking see VP get nerfed into oblivion. I want everyone here to have the same personal enjoyment my guild had when we cleared the zone.

I thought they got rid of epic crits because of this same exact thing on the Matron's AE. So epic double attack, I assume, would also be on the chopping block.

BTW, where did this complete bullshit "double attack" game stat come from anyway?

Jar im going to disagree, it doesnt put the burden on the OT group...its puts the burden on the second MT group...

there is absolutely nothing as an OT group this expansion...all adds are heroic to the point mages can tank or since the adds themselves are mages they just sit there while you play t-ball with them.

You set up 2 groups each with the full understanding the will probably both be playing MT.

This is a very stale, static, and cumbersome form of combat they have created for this expansion.

Just started following this thread, kind of interesting. Saw something I thought was debatable.

or maybe they can clear EoF now b/c they are lvl 80 instead of lvl 70.

and dont be retarded. there isnt enough to do in this game to constitute unconditional or 60 hours of gamplay a week. I play as low as 18 and as much as 25 hours a week and still somehow find a way to beat just about everyone elses ass.

I'm not the exception.
I humoured myself, and looked up Widem. Saw one on Nek, he had an account created on June 29th, 2006. So, we are talking an account that has been played for 76 weeks. The account has 221 days, 11hrs of playtime. So, that means....
69.9 hours of a play a week, a shade under 70 hrs. It is possible this is a different Widem, heck if I know, However, I am preceding on the assumption that it is the same person.

That is an average time, spaced over 76 weeks. (A pretty dang good baseline, actually)

That pretty conclusively tells me the 18-25 seems kind of lowball. I'm not saying it is the end of the world or anything, but if you accuse someone of being retarded, you might want to ensure you aren't making their point, in abundance, for them.

I'm going to have to agree with Widem on this one. VP is very stale, static, and cumbersome for me. I mean, I can honestly say I'm NOT looking forward to clearing this zone over and over as of right now because of the way the fights are setup for my particular archetype. Plus the loot sucks atm
