Clearing it in 2 days is a cakewalk. Our second time in we cleared it in just over 9 hours over two days. I think we had 7days 21hours left on our instance.

anyone experience a wicked memory leak near eldar ekron ? we had peoples memory usage skyrocketing and crashing the client when we did him to the point where we had to form up out of the room to ensure we didn't lose people constantly.

The huge area that script is on seems to cause quite a few crashes/leaks for us, think our last kill had 4-5 LD's.

Take away persistent zones - Take away repair bots - leave repair kits in - put a two hour recast on them. Making every pull truly count. You could get that down to an hour by using quick recast shit like fast cast/jcap/ring of four winds. I mean VP doesn't really take all that much time but persistent zones just make this stupid -for example. We zoned in last night at 10EST and zoned out at 12.10EST after killing the taskmaster. The zone can be done in less then 6 hours if you know what you are doing.

I really think just by taking away persistent zones/repair bots that would help make the content last longer.

Also fix scripts.

Let's just assume the first four named in veeshans are supposed to be easy - fine, so be it.

Next mob: Taskmaster - this mob is fine I like it.

Milyx the Gay fucking Drake - this mob is retarded, un root it - have it hit like a truck. Give it a huge knockback and have it tethered to his little platform. Give him a random charm every 30 seconds that cannot be cured. Have the little trinkets around him mean something. Have it so if you don't de-activate them you get a badass add every 10%. (Equiv to a trash mob).

Xygoz - Give the fucking dragon a god damn AoE. Have it hit harder - Make it so if you don't pick "yourself" up by 10 seconds you instantly died and cannot be rezzed. Make all the dragon adds hit hard. Give it a mem shift and a 5% consume soul.

The gay drake with the bee's. Fuck the ring Event - give this drake a god damn aoe stifle/stun that you have to have priests joust in and out. Have bee adds come every 5% x2's that hit like fucking trucks but not so much hp.

Hoshkar - Fuck this encounter. Make it if he touches the lava he does a zonewide 20k aoe. Make him hit like Silverwing - Give him a 50% reflect. Make him have a port that he uses every minute that lasts for 30 seconds and puts the player in the lava (randomly) so you have to have a priest go out there and heal them.

Traverno - Let this remain be the Herald of Woushi. Congrats - you've made it this far.

Silverwing - love this encounter - don't change it.

Phara Dar - give him and the shade a 13k (make it so it can't be mitigated, just a 13k aoe.)

Wala zone is tougher no one will bitch. Alot of encounters will be insanely tough and provide challenge.

I'm sure there would be some problems with these changes. However I guarantee in the 90 seconds it took to create this post I used more logic and thought then SoE did when they originally designed these encounters.

Mendor bots just make it easier to repair and keep going, it is faster then the traditional repair kit, but if you just had repair kits and no bots the only reason your making the content last longer is because people are sitting around bored to fuck waiting for kits to refresh.

As for making the content last longer, the only way it will last longer is to make it harder, not take out mender bots/persistent zones. People are going to beat shit quite quicky who are dedicated. It is obvious with this expansion content is being geared to more then just the hardcore.

Jaraxx, nothing you proposed would help anything, all you've done is make encounters stupid. To start with mobs that are pussies then one shot your tank are not a challenge, they are stupid. When you can sit there for 2 minutes barely getting touched then take 30k from a pair of double attacks that is not challenge. Non mitigatable anything does not solve anything, it is stupid. It does not promote item progression or even remotely fix any of the problems with the game right now.

With the current game mechanics and the retarded diminishing returns system there is 2 things a mob can be, possible, or impossible. If you can kill it once you do it is going to be easy.

The solution under current game mechanics is to force you to complete scripts and take away the ability to move mobs (though rooted mobs are fucking retarded to begin with, so it shouldn't so much be take away the ability to move them as take away the rooted mob).

The actual solution is to get the fuck off diminishing returns and go back to a straight line where you could actually have item progression and with the item progression you could have a real zone progression where you need to gear to be able to survive.
