I guess I share a different opinion then most do. Here's what I do know - we killed everything with 4-5 priests. Almost every single fucking named we killed I died atleast once on and my secondary tank manned up and grabbed his balls and tanked it until I got back up. Just accept it that it's going to be part of the game right now. Am I looking for recognition or glory out of this? Fuck no - my point is that the mobs are too easy and there needs to be more unique challenges in the encounter.

What I suggested on those encounters wasn't well thought of - that's not my point. My point is those changes would make them alot more challenging and more sense - you call it stupid - but those are simple changes that would make those mobs a challenge. I'm simply arguing in the 90 seconds it took me to write that out I put in more intelligence then SoE did in these encounters.

Exactly, having your tank get randomly one shot is stupid, not hard. If it was a lot of constant damage at a smaller quantity instead full life fully warded > dead every once in a while it would be a lot more challenging. They need to stop making mobs hit absurdly hard and make them start swinging faster. That way you could more easily tweak the damage up to increase the challenge but not make it stupid. Make the healers work and have a job instead of oh shit my tank just took 30k.

If you call more intelligence asking for things to one shot everyone, sure. How about more intelligent being requiring you to complete the script as they designed it instead of being able to completely ignore scripts and kill mobs? How about thinking about where your desired changes would lead the game.

Bullshit - it would make things tougher - not stupid. Having your tank one rounded on a fully debuffed mob is actually a good thing - it adds in challenge so there's actually a purpose of having more then one fighter in the raid. Fucking bring it. I spent 90 seconds putting together ways to improve the encounters - making them unique and tougher. In no way was I saying "This is how the mobs should be" I was simply giving you what took me 90 seconds or less of thought put into it.

I love the concept of tanks getting one shot - infact, it gets me wet at night.

Man up.

Really though, most mob's melee rarely hits, but when it does, it's a some retardly high double attack.

Our silverwing kill:


18 hits in an 18:47 fight, 14 of them double attacks, I'd prefer more attacks to actually hit, I can't remember a time when my reactives where used before the timer ran out, I was just sitting there praying the tank would survive the double attack then spam heal. Really aint "skillful" in anyway.

I did notice this... It wasn't unplayable, but I had to close out ACT, itunes, and aim which I NEVER have to do normally.

Did you forget warded/crush? Best way to actually output melee auto-attack from a mob is to look at Melee (Out)/All.

So you want consistent hits - not spikey hits? I understand, nerf the encounters because they are already too easy hell why not make them easier?

Seriously guys, yes It's annoying. However it does provide an extra challenge. Taking this away would simply just make the content even easier then it already is? Should there be other ways to make the mobs difficult? Fuck yeh - of course, however is it realistic to think they're going to change that? No - it's not going to happen.

This needs to be done IMO... With just the gear that obtained from EoF raiding I was sitting at 60%+ mitigation on EVERY resist. Mind you that was before I obtained anything in RoK, so now all that I need to worry about is getting gear to increase my dps since I already have all of the resist that I need for the expansion before it even started.

I don't think anyone can disagree with Arabel on that either. However if they take away that aspect of the fight this will remove any of the challenge that was left.

So you want people to run around with 2 Guardians, 2 Templars, 2 Defilers, 2 Dirges, 2 Swashbucklers, 2 Coercers for half their raid?
