it is really confusing that a lot of raids are currently in VP or they cleared it a month l8er since addon release. and in my opinion the addon is to "easy". but why is t8 raiding so easy ?
the persistent zone technology is a MUST HAVE for a modern mmorpg and has nothing to do with "raiding is too easy".
it is simply the amount of raid content in rok with a lot of "gear" issues.
a lot of guilds were farming t7 eof raid instances and those who did not farmed them can do it now, because with lvl 80 raiding/farming them is very very easy. you can inform yourself about all eof tactics via internet so this should be no problem anymore for everyone to get yourself geared up with excellent armor/loot if you done that you are ub0r upgraded for the first t8 raids, and it should be no problem to kill tier1 fast. and further you dont really need the tier1 loot to clear tier2/tier3 or to get to VP. Eof raid gear is really ok for that. There will be some "nice" little bit upgrades until you get to VP but you really dont need them.
so in my opinion it's all about the loot ! and EoF raid instance loot is too overpowered compared to what RoK epics are doing (e.g. dmg on maintank wich has complete eof class armor).
if the eof class armor would be not enough to clear tier1/tier2/tier3 and if there would be tier1/tier2 drops wich were ub0r upgrades compared to eof stuff ... THEN it would take longer to get through rok or e.g. to get to VP. if you first would need some tier1/tier2 armor upgrades (e.g. for the maintank) to be able to kill tier2/tier3 epics THEN some raids would first be forced to farm these zones a little bit.
but would that make sense ? NO, because there is not enough tier1/tier2 raid content. it could be very boring to be forced to farm tier1 zones because they are too small.
finally ...
if eof class set wouldn't be enough for ROK-Raids and if more and bigger tier1 zones would exsist ... then it would take LONGER to get to VP. it's just a loot and content problem with rok.
