How the heck do you kill him when most of raid spends time stifled? Best we done was like get him to 70% but its hard keeping him on grate. Is there stuff we can buy that prevents his stifle?

Signet of Clear Voice will stop the stifle, but not the daze for 1 min. Wont be enough to kill him.

He is killable without stopping the stifle.

fuck the grate, tank him against a wall, and have a couple healers joust out way back and come in to cure

Just because he's targetting you... doesn't mean he's "aggro" on you...

Just don't let him turn around.

Screw the grate. Fight against a wall... Stay behind him.

If you are clever... everyone can stand behind him when he does his crazyness.

Watch his animation (turn up graphics if you have to) and think about what he is doing when he does his animation.

Like someone already said fuck the grate. It was just some Dev's funny idea to give a short cut in killing the guy. Reality is he's much easier to kill by not using the short cut and just treating him like any other encounter.

guess I'm surprised they didn't program into his script to be unkillable until dropped into the pit kinda like the other heroic zone's named are unkillable until you read the book thingies.

The grate...as far as i can tell was an attempt at making the encounter easier (?) when in all reality trying to keep him on the grate with his knockbacks n shit is more difficult then putting ur ass on a wall and keeping him infront of the tank and the raid behind him.
