Depending on your setup, you do NOT need to just turn on auto attack at 55% and do nothing. Most classes can pump out decent dps without screwing their power, even if your raid is all mages. Power proc gear, power items, and all that good stuff, should keep you in the safe range quite well.

And on the gear issue, I personally wiped our raid twice because I was wearing too much. I'd throw a group heal and cure, and proc ~20% power. I switched some out and my life got a little easier.

All of this is figured out within like an hour TOPS, and the rest of your time is spent tearing your eyes out at people messing up on the script. Figuring out how to beat VS isn't the hard part. :p

if you're being conscientious with your cube, you only have to deal with the suck-factor of your own guild members rather than the mobs script

BTW, Power Sacrifice is visible in the detr effects window. But it is quite dark, so doesn't attract attention.
