It's kinda astonishing how often people mess up mob names. Like Tomb of (Ugga-)Thuggah!
No offence btw.

Would at least stop the raid from having a wank to keep themselves entertained. Also, while it's kinda cool that nameds often require more than one tank, they're kinda out of business on trash. Can hardly imagine anything more boring than playing a tank when no tankage is required.

Well if you're gonna have a permarooted named that's not trivial (i.e. possible to wipe on, unlike Milyex/Travenro/Leviathan), adds would seem to be the best way to achieve it.

I mean the alternative is an OMFG CURE type of AE which basically means the healers spam and everyone else goes ranged autoattack AFK. Or some novelty clicky item where someone risks carpal tunnel while the rest of the raid kill the mob.

btw, omg they stole my Nexona idea!

I have to say in reading this post I get the impression that the Elitists who want to make this zone harder have all done it, and done want others to be able to do it.

The logic I am seeing posted is as follows:

"We cant stand the thought of other guilds and non uber raiders doing this zone it sucks. Please make it too difficult for them, but just enough of a challenge for us to be interesting."

With epics out now its really seems to be rubbing some raw that a player who plays just 10 hours a week could come into this zone and get his epic in a few months or so of gaming. But SOE needs to keep the gaming base going. As it is just a handful of guilds doing it isnt going to keep them in business. Everyone needs the Carrot to reach for even the non-hardcore gamer.

If you arent willing to neglect your family, divorce your wife or husband to raid 7 days a week for 4-10 hours a day you still should be able to hit a raid zone.

Currently VP is the only raid zone in this expansion. So it should be accessable to the majority of players not just a handful. If you petition them to make it difficult because you already did you, your really advocating keeping other people out of the zone.

But making Avatars and future raid zones that are increasingly difficult sounds like a possible solution to keeping the 24/7 raiders happy. That would give them something to do and keep the average gamer/raider interested the game as well.

Intelligent reply. I was suprised, then I read your other 980 posts and realized that 900 of them are at about the same level of intelligence.

Sorry if Divorce court was so hard on you.

Read the post again, if you can.

Like I said making a zone tougher you have already done is just eliteism and wanting to keep others out.

I advocate tougher new zones with great loot tables, and Avatars that are godly hard with godly loot. Problem fixed.

As the pattern of the 10 level expansions lasting 2 years I would expect SOE to put out new Raid zones in 3-4 months. They should be harder and challenging to the raiders who have already cleared VP. Its probably what will happen anyways.

Uh, this expansion has:

Protector's Realm
Pawbuster
Thuuga
Overking
Venril Sathir
Chamber of Destiny
and
Veeshan's Peak

So... you're dumb.

Oh no, I completely understand what you meant.

But the fact that you define that elite-ism with the same faggot - YOU HAVE NO LIVES WAAAAAA NOT FAIR I WANT MORE argument - makes you lose at any argument you were trying to make.

The fact is, as many have shown, that is the FURTHEST thing from the truth for the majority of 'hardcore' raiders.

And then, every 4 months, you want new raid zones that are harder then VP, but now that VP is too hard, you want to whine about it? Because it is elitism. Hmmm...

It might be better if you posted regarding subjects you actually know something about. There are many more raid zones than this in the expansion.

Secondly, it's not just guilds that have cleared the zone that have been asking for the difficulty of the mobs to be increased in there. If you had raided there (and the 3 tiers of raids before it) you would understand this.

Finally, you really should get over the whole 'you must have no life to raid'. It's so EQ1 and is disproven by the casual raid guilds that are now starting to defeat the T2 encounters - both of which were harder than the majority of the mobs in VP. But you wouldn't know that because you are posting from a position of ignorance regarding RoK raid zones.
