Currently VP is the only raid zone in this expansion. So it should be accessable to the majority of players not just a handful. If you petition them to make it difficult because you already did you, your really advocating keeping other people out of the zone.

But making Avatars and future raid zones that are increasingly difficult sounds like a possible solution to keeping the 24/7 raiders happy. That would give them something to do and keep the average gamer/raider interested the game as well.
This posting indicates that
- you have no clue about the T8 raid zones
- you have no idea about people in guilds that already raid an completed VP
- you want a carrot up your ass and reach for it or something

Get this, VP was supposed to be the end all challenge in terms of raiding instances. In its original form, the difficulty of some mobs in other zones was higher than most mobs in VP. Now, think about your "logic".

I did not claim to be any sort of expert what so ever in raiding nor in VP itself. I simply stated that by reading this post, and many of the statements on it I arrived a the conclusion posted.


However VP is not the end of all of all raid zones. The pattern has been 2 years or so between the next 10 level expansions. Im sure SOE will create new more difficult zones in that time for this level cap. Avatars have been introduced and are sure to be of extreme difficulty, assuming they fix the bugs.

Do you seriously think that for the next 2 years the first 3 tiers, and VP are all the raid zones SOE will produce? Come on use the grey matter in your skulls.

Elitism in my book is killing raid mobs, then wanting SOE to make them harder so other guilds cant do them. Even previous posters who thought it would be nice if VP was harder, stated it would be lame to do VP easily then, try to get SOE to make it harder just to keep others out.

I am betting the game desgners think in similiar fashion.

So by your logic, because there is eventually more content to come, there is no need to make current content hard? man get a fucking clue, in previous expansions the content is released hard. then nerfd. then its nerfd AGAIN when needed for a quest. VP is at the moment, the "END GAME ZONE" as it is the LAST ZOEN IN PROGRESSION FOR THE ZONES IN GAME. sayign it shoudlnt be hard because there will eventually be another zone is dumb, and spoken by a true carebear fuck. I agree with buffing druushk and nexona, but "cockblocking" isnt the way it should be done and i hope they only stopped with those two due to time. IMO everything in the zone needs to be redone and made challenging and difficult like nexona was made instead of your simple pull, push buttons, joust wingbeat, win

My guild raids 9 hours per week. We are in VP.

Try sucking less.

Veeshans peak was cleared within 2 weeks of expansion release by uber guilds... RoK was a good DESIGN of tiered raiders. There are some guilds that can walk through the first couple tiers like nothing, and there are some guilds that are just getting through T1 RoK. My guild is just able to kill the 4 nameds in PR currently, but I'm happy with our progression. We are a CASUAL raiding guild and are just getting enough people to start getting serious. This game is for ALL kinds of people and it takes different strokes. Of COURSE its going to be risk vs reward. The T1 zones are MUCH easier than VP but you can still get some pretty sweet loot our of PR and ToK. There are uber pieces and set gear available from VP because it requires the most organized, hardcore, knowledgeable people. It SHOULD be extremely difficult. It should test the limits of characters in this game.

Are you farming Trakanon yet? Are you farming the epics? No?

SO ...there is clearly difficult areas and mobs left in game. Absolutely nothing in your statement says anything but the fact you want this zone to be limited to the 3-4% of players who can get into it and clear the whole zone atm. Making it more difficult would ensure that.

What about the other 95-97% of the game population? Assuming that 50% of those actually raid 1-2 times a week at least. ( We all know theres nothing else to do at level 80 except raid).

Do you really think the developers will make it impossible those guilds to do VP just because you think its too easy atm?


And yes in 4-6 months when the next adventure pack comes out with new raid zones you can bitch about how they are too easy too.

Again this is only directed at the eliteist commentors who are whining zone is too easy and want to make it more difficult for others.

The loot issue, trash mobs etc all seem like valid points and do deserve to be addressed IMO from what I hear on this post and from friends who do this zone often.

When you can farm Trakanon and all the Avatars then come bitch and call me more names if that makes you feel better.
