EoF Instanced Raid Zone Named Mobs
The Zones look nice and there are some nice twists, Although I feel a little dissapointed with the difficulty of most nameds. Seems that the main challenge in alot of the zones are the trash hehe. Xanadu on Runnyeye tonight as advised by a good friend are currently working on Mayong in the inner sanctum. The rest of the zone just wasnt a challenge - named encounters dying on the first and secong pull. Like the clockwork menace ... didnt take too lond to figure out the strat on Wednesday and kill it. However Mayong is proving to be a bit more challenging I hear. How are the rest of the raid community finding the zones?

Aside from 1 or 2 mobs here or there, all these things are just sort of a yawn fest.
There is no progression still, its either the mob rapes the shit out of you (like the avatars) or you rape the shit out of the mob.

Hit the nail on the head Ishbu couldnt have put it more clearer .... exactly how it is - afaik tactician for Xanadu was on the 3rd pull but strat was down after the first.
However I do find i hard to believe that tactician was killed by any guild on first pull. Damn near impossible unless SoE leak strats :P or strat was obtained via beta

Just zoned out of inner Sanctum and was really dissapointed with mob difficulty and loot.
we cleared every named 1st pull including Tactician, he was a bit tricky but just rolled with it np.
Mayong is the only mob in the zone with any sort of creative difficulty, and should be somewhat rewarding to just kill him, but from the looks of loot I expect to see crap.
On the other hand Emerald Halls proved to have somewhat difficult encounters and little creativity loot was moderatly better, and mobs took more than just 1st pull to kill, sadly I was happy and dissapointed at the same time that we were able to clear zone except Wuoshi who we actually had really good atempts on and would probably be killable had it not been 5am.
Like Ishbu said either its to easy or to impossible, hoping the impossible encounters will become more easy after somewhat progressing gear and AA wise, but being only one week in and knowing SoE will probably tweak/adjust some content (hopefully) its to early to tell, and as it is right now its a mix feeling, some changes were great some not.

/agree, too early to tell. I have noticed, however that there is at least a GLIMPSE of thought being put into some of the encounters. It really hasn't been anything exciting, but everyone can see that SoE has at least looked at raid encounters as an issue. More than we could say for KoS.

Couldn't agree more. The trash in Inner Sanctum was more of a pain than the names... who gives animated armor like 30 god damn billion hit points? The nameds were all jokes (with the exception of Mayong of course), considering this is supposed to be the second hardest raid instance. Loot was meh... no defiler set armor...
Emerald Halls was a blast, lots of fun encounters (I really lol'd at the satyrs who make you dance) and it's fucking huge! The nameds were all well thought out and fun fights. Woushi looks sweet.... smaller than I expected though, considering the size of the zone.... This is easily my favorite zone of the expansion thus far...
Lot's of tweaks and fixes are required to get this expansion on track, lets hope SoE gets it done.
