On the subject of "shifting" loyalties. Psykil and I really never had any loyalties towards each other, even at the height of our friendship. In the 2 years this game has been out we were guilded together maybe a month tops and that was when he was in a new guild and I was a shell of what I had been previously and what I was since I left. There was never anything to be loyal to each other about.

One thing we should all know is that in terms of MMO's, friends come and go. People change, people choose different paths, people quit, etc. Before the servers are powered down for good me and pyskil may end up best friends, we may end up in the same guild, we may end up being the biggest rivals this game has ever seen. What happens right now has no bearing on that at all because this is just an online game. Psykil and Amnesiac have witnessed first hand what can happen when people put aside the past and work together as was the case when Dissolution was formed, I am sure they both know it very well.

If anything, my stance has remained firm the entire time. I have always been outspoken, vocal, and adamanent about developer interference, favortism, and things of that nature. I have never wavered from that. Psykil says I am retarded because I view CL as nothing but another one of those guilds that couldnt do it without a little "extra" help. The bottom line for me is that CL received special help from the developers that is not available to everyone who is deserving of it, regardless of weather CL actually made use of that or not, they did receive that help. In my mind that will forever standout. Afterall, you did it once, who is to say you havent done it more times or wont do it more times in the future?

It is easy to strip naked and blindly zerg a mob just to make the zone crash from the dieing/reviving in mass quantities, how can anyone trust that CL wont just do that and then get their developer friends to reset their lockout once the zone does crash? Obviously if you choose do this you wont come forth publicy about it and would deny it, you would have to, so the arguement will be always stuck in a deadlock. With this CL has set precedence for getting special help from developers and are obviously in close communication with them to the point where they get special favors done for the guild.

Today its your EH lockout. Tomrow maybe its your MIS. You have shown the ability to have your lockouts reset even after having killed a named mob in the zone so the bottom line will always be you did that and you have to live with it. Obviously me posting about it bothered some of you (see Fumtik having a fit, Pyskil sending tells in game, the list goes on, etc etc), so to me that screams you know you got a benefit that you shouldnt have and your ashamed and trying to downplay it as much as possible.
