LOL ok coming from someone with 300+ posts.

Well I actually started playing because I injured myself while I was stationed overseas and couldnt really get up to move around. Now that I'm back up and walking around I don't play so much, just to pass the time while my lady works. I post here because there's not much I can go out and do during work hours besides work...my new job involves the web so I keep EQ2flames in the background and tab over when I can.
Never said I wasn't a nerd, but I'm a nerd who helps send rounds down range and I don't know about the comment on someone being better than someone else since I've never grouped with anyone who posts on here.
I get just as heated when something so simple as logical mechanics aren't realised, but I try not to carry on about it because in the end its all pixels and won't be here for very long anyway.

Oh yea, and the web admin blocked sony's official forums here and a friend turned me onto this site which is still viewable and useable from work....so i post and read here instead. LFG can probly atest that most of my posts are made during a specific time period...my at work time.

ROFL Great read. Anyway, Chaotic Legion petitioned and got their lockout timer reset by Customer Service. Chaotic Legion did not zone back into the zone that had the timer reset until after the time of the original lockout was up. If both of those sentences are true I don't see what the issue is. Big fucking deal.

Also, just to add some distance and credibility to my opinion, I fucking hate both CL and Disso....wel actually, now days I could really not give a shit about either one of them but I'm sure that there are members of both factions that in no way can except that there may be ppl out there that play eq2 that aren't concerned with every aspect of what they and their guild is doing.

Now I know that I am the absolute worst tank/player to ever hoist a shield and sword and my wife is the absolute worst healer/player to ever disgrace eq2 but my opinion of the CL is a special needs guild is still just as valid as the best player that plays eq2 (btw this was added to TRY to stop Ishbu from debunking my opinion by stating my or my wife's lack of prowess in game).

Did you get your lockout reset for something that other people experienced and did not get the lockout reset? Yes.

That means you got special treatment from a developer. Period.

If that is not true, prove it. Otherwise, you have already admitted that the above is true. It makes you a special needs guild. It makes you a pathetic guild that just has never and most likely will never amount to much more than a special needs guild that may show up here and there but most likely because of the special help they receive.

EDIT - BTW If I figure out a way to exploit wuoshi and I explain in detail numerous times how to do it does that make it any less of an exploit? No. Just like you explaining how you did in fact receive special treament doesnt make it any less pathetic.

The other day my girlfriend made me listen to a radio segment devoted to MMO players and how they become obsessed with the game. I think that would be considered intervention...lol. It was funny to hear some of the stories from the ex girlfriends and wives though.

Ok Ishbu, I just want to understand you here....because I guess I'm just too dense to get your logic.

Senario: CL petitions that the zone is fucked up and it kicked them out of zone...CL gets lockout reset.

Question: Is your issue with CL that they got their lockout reset OR that they felt the need to petition? Because what I'm hearing it that all CL did was petition and then the lockout was reset...without any interaction between members of their guild and Devs..etc. I'm just trying to understand why doing this makes them a "special-needs" guild. Shrug, I'm dense as I said. Thks for explaining and please use small words that I can understand.

EDIT: Actually, I have another question. Did CL petition to have their lockout reset OR did they just petition that the zone/encounter was FUBAR and they were booted from zone and the lockout reset was done w/o asking for it specifically?

I would just like to point out that BitchBu is STILL harping on about something that happened ON ANOTHER SERVER... TWO FUCKING WEEKS AGO!!!

Also, if we are such a "pathetic guild", why the fuck are you so pre-occupied with every little action we take? I think you're jealous cuz your dps would only appear at around 4th or 5th on our parses. I mean what other reason could there be for a person to let the actions of another guild consume them to the point where they post on the forums to flame more than they play the actual game.

Oh, I'm still curious... what would you do if EQ2 shut down today? I mean, besides posting on forums about shit that doesn't affect you and sometimes playing the game... do you actually have time to do anything else? I'm mean, there is a line b/w hardcore and obsessive... I think you crossed that line quite some time ago.
