The shittiness of this encounter has little to do with clicking the shinies, it is the fact that half of the raid needs to stand around with their thumbs up their asses. I don't remember anyone ever saying the crab from Fallen Dynasty was a good encounter, it's the same bullshit.

I agree with the Nexona fight it's fun fight and you go wow once you beat it!
One thing I personally dislike on Leviathan, Nexona and Druushk is raid whipe AE when you screw up ... I would love to see it changed to a say Full heal of the mob at least on the VP encounters!
The only thing these Huge AEs do is slow you down in getting pulls in, as you either need to revive and run back or LD and get a backup rez toon in!
And when you learn an encounter, nothing is more boring to have long rez breaks between pulls. It just takes the fun totally out of the game imho.
Druushk, is just a terrible encounter, bugged imho to no end ... why is it that after all this time SoE is unable to get the pathing of mobs right? The x2 are just horrible, on second you see them coming to you, the next they are under the world or warp onto a healer and one shot them before you can grab em off!
Seriously the area where Druushk is in is the worst place to have any kind of adds ... worst coding of pathing ever!

Another stupid thing: Bypassing abilities.
- If a mez lands, the mob should be mezzed and not show the icon but keep doing stuff. Give me a resist or "mob is too overpowered".
- If a 100% chance AE avoid is up, the AE should be avoided.

Wait, so you mean instead of just going oh well, have to start all over not liek it matters since we have infinite power even without enchanters, you are actually FUCKED and GOING TO DIE because someojne just fucked up? You mean every guild cant be clearing VP in 2 weeks because they get free repeated pulls over and over on mobs? MAN WHAT THE FUCK sony, where the fuck is the auto rez. I think these mobs should auto rez you 5 seconds after it resets to save time, oh and it should revive you with all your buffs up and no rez effects. WELCOME TO WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HARD ZONE!!!!!!!
On a side note, haveing to hold back on a mob is pretty lame, the first time we killed this it wasnt much of an issue but our second trip through with 90% of the guild wielding epics, pretty much = the entire guild haveing to hold back, kind of lame. Other then the gay crab style shit i still really liek this encounter.

Yeah, I don't think the holding back thing was ever fun nor will it ever be fun.
The clicking shinies thing is annoying, but there is an easy fix for it. Make it so they don't spawn more then 50m away from Nexona at any time. Voila, everyone can participate still.
As for Druushk, change it so the statues spawn single up 84 heroics. If you kill none of them, 2 x2 84 Epics charge the raid. If you kill 1, 1 x2 84 Epic and 1 84 Heroic charges the raid. If you kill 2, 1 x2 Epic charges the raid. If you kill 3, one Heroic charges the raid. If you kill 4, nothing charges the raid. Make the 84 heroics spawned by the statues engage the person that clicks them only and they have 20 seconds to be killed or they despawn.
Voila, people aren't standing around doing nothing but clicking.

what i ment by the clickies was that people had to stand away from raid doing fuck all which i agree is a bad idea but apart from that its the best encounter in VP atm imo
holding back on DPS isnt a new idea but i just think long fights are fun ...
oh and i agree add pathing is a pain in the ass but that didnt stop AoM being fun either

I think having to stand around with your dick in hand isn't fun. It's as bad as people having to run around clicking dumb things.

I had a thought about this last night, a way to keep the High DPSers off of Druushk would be to force them to stand by a statue, click it and have to solo a heroic add fast before something bad happened or the next add popped.
Just a thought though. Since the Raid Developers seem to like this clicky shit atm, atleast have the people near them do something?
