The more i hear wich classes need wich mobs to get those mythicals the more i feel what a shit is happening to this game. Some classes can get the mythical by killing a bunch of trash nameds and heroic shit while others need to kill a pair of trash and maybe one mob that can stop a decent raid guild for a day or two and a little number of classes need leviathan or nexona the only ones i hear are something of a hard encounter now. And i look at those weapons and look at those two avatar loots i seen and the trakanon shield and i feel that a person with this weapon will gain so much that even a full of contested loot for him wont give him a shit to his performance. You get this mythycal in a week or two if you slack and all those hoops of power and unstoppable bullwarks theyre just like yeah look at me i killed that fucking avatar and not like it would give some significant change. Im not complaining about the weapons itself its ok but it should be much harder to obtain these and the requirements should be equal challenge for all classes. Make the first required kill say overking or venril, second Leviathan and third some VP mob from 2-3 wing so that everyone needs to kill nexona and druushk and it will be still not enough work to get such items.

Pairing weapons based on same delay to get max performance is a myth. You want to look at each weapon on it's own to decide which is the best. And there are quite a few weapons to go around which are better then incandescent blade.

And not pairing or syncing delays results in lower DPS than pairing or syncing delays. So no, it is not a myth.

Don't delude yourselves, delaying auto attacks while unpaused spamming of CAs is always going to be lower DPS than paired/synced delay weapons with timed CAs.

What is better to delay? Your 1.5k CA or your 2-3k auto attack that can double attack?(example, both can be much more, and class dependent for exact amount, ie assassins win with CAs)

Choosing weapons that don't pair or will be delayed unless giving LARGE pauses for auto attacks, lowering CA dps by a large bit, is choosing to have fewer auto attacks which will be the largest factor in how you parse. Plain and simple.

(Syncing meaning a 4.0 with a 2.0 or some such that gives a time-able space that allows you to time CAs without delaying the faster or slower weapon's auto attack)

Don't miss that while there are better weapons, those weapons are not very much better, they are on the most part only better due to the widely held "4.0 delay weapons are the only good ones" myth. Exceptions being those with +crit chance or a decent bit more than 1:6+ min:max.

And those weapons don't pair with the epic.

I meant that out of all the weapons out there, there are better weapons that you can pair up with the dirge epic other then incandescent blade just because of the same delay. 0.5 delay difference shouldn't be the last thing you look at when you choose your offhand weapon to pair up with the dirge epic.

Kall had a 3.0 and 4.0 delay weapon equiped in EoF and it from what he said he didn't notice a lot of auto attack "delay".

I noticed a lot of auto attack delay on my guard using a 3.5 and a 4.0 for his DW set up(didn't really even need a shield in EoF towards the end). But I had/have my ACT to give me a tone when my auto attack goes off, had differing damage types so I had different tones trying to keep my attacks timed. It got rather annoying, quickly.

Especially with CoB going off and altering the delays. With the raid epic bonus though your raid can almost keep CoB up constantly making that a moot point.

But noticing delayed attacks and actually having delayed attacks are quite different.

In most cases you are either A) timing as if using two 4.0s delaying the 3.5 weapon into effectively auto attacking at a 4.0 weapon's rate making it a rather crap 4.0 or B) timing off of the 3.5 and after that attack hits going back into CA mode letting the 4.0 just fall in somewhere after the first CA after the 3.5's attack.

Either way you are delaying one of your weapon's auto attacks using normal timing methods or you are delaying CAs, which not as significant to dirges as delayed auto attacks, but it does add up over time.
