Claymore Series: Burglars Afoot Issues

Leveling an alt, I figured that I'd give this old quest series a go since I never did finish it before I abandoned it to work on SoD. I'm on the quest Burglars Afoot at the step where I'm supposed to get an update from killing a Herald of Dar in Tenebrous Tangle.

I've camped the Temple of the Wurmking up by the Temple of Scale for longer than I care to admit. I was told that the respawn on the mob is about 12 minutes, but I've sat there for over an hour without luck. I've explored the whole area around the Temple and can't see the Herald of Dar anywhere.

I've tried to finish off the ring event there, hoping that it was just a bug in scripting that might be reset with a refresh of the ring event. No dice though.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same issue or knows about a work around.

Completed that step last week on RE on an alt. Herald seemed to take little longer than usual to pop but he did. No issues after that either.

I did it on my alt about 3-4 days ago with no troubles. I saw him up now and then while running through the area as well.
