Not to ruin anyones fun or expectations here, but... I vaguely remember a dev stating that the guild halls will be available to city guilds only.

I'm sorry, but that would be unacceptable, and there'd be no reason to exclude Exile.

Except they're exile, and therefore supposed to be without on a regular basis. Exiles should not be included in Guild Hall fun because they chose a life of exile, a life without amenities.

Seriously, though, the guild halls aren't even going to be in cities - the concept art they showed at FF had them in places like off the water in Butcherblock. There would be no reason, role playing or otherwise, to exclude Exiled guilds on PVP servers. This doesn't involve loot.

If its going to be somewhere out in the world, sure, let Exiles in. But if its city based, then no.

I agree with that - but the public concept art I saw at FF had all the guild houses outside the cities.

Then yeah.
And now that I think about it, that makes sense.

Almost all guilds are numerous faction based. It wouldn't even be reasonable to have guild halls in the cities. They would have to be outside somewhere.

In the middle of the night I would visit the pet store. The next day they would discover their locker is full... of cats!

I would also like to see a bathroom in the guild halls as I have yet to find one anywhere in Norrath, and it is getting hard to hold it in.

All the obvious goodies have been covered it looks like.

Perhaps a set of mannequins in the vestibule that display the most recently acquired (not discovered) loot for each archtype. Another set in the trophy room where discoveries can be displayed.

A bar with free booze... auto consumed when you take it.

Perhaps archtype or class themed rooms with unique art/furniture displays though I can't think of a practical purpose for them. A dank basement sorcerer's workshop with all the fixings would be fun to have though.

Unlimited supplies of no-zone snowballs.

Secret passageways are a definate must. With pictures whose eyes you can peer through.

Would be fun if you could set traps in rooms for others to "find" (thinking back to old commador64 Spy vs. Spy). Powder kegs, spikes in the floor, anvils in the ceiling, moppets in cabinets... nothing lethal, just a suprise. Could have them set so that only your intended target can trip them even.

Nothing I expect, but would all be fun to have.

My apologies, I remembered wrong. It wasn't stated by a developer on the forums (at least not that I know), but by someone who attended last year's Fan Faire. Apparently, the guild halls are supposed to be gifts from your city leader for long and unyielding service. Quoting:
