SoE devs are only dependable to do one thing, and one thing only... change their minds.... Its the only true constant in EQ2.

I dont know about you but I would like to not have a instance'd guild house.

I want people to ride by and see the guild banner (which matches cloak) drapped over the roof or handing down the tower (much like in majdul).

I think houses/castles should require player maintenance, and intervention when building. (eg to build a house it should require a mass load of mastercrfated havested wood, along with a monthly amount to replenish damages)

I would love to see zones reworked to allow land lots to be player aquired and even allow the players to build a city and host a few workshops for tradeskillers to rent from the guild who owns the city or if that guild builds a instance houseing area they can allow allies to move in and pay rent to the castle which pays to the city they are allined with (eg sony money sink)

Ok it's starting to sound like SWG now, and we know how that turned out with player made towns and cities dotting the landscape where you couldn't throw a rock without hitting some sort of building.

Thats the last thing i would want to see here.

I would like to see a "Guild Broker". You can put your stuff up for a discounted price for guild members. Potions, poisons, adepts, whatever.

I would like to see the ability to "rent a room" in the guild house. It's just like renting a room somewhere else, but this way it will help bring guild members together, instead of being separated by the two cities.

Trophy room would be awesome. Can have a trophy from every raid zone boss.T5,6,7,7.5,8.

Specially crafted items just for guild halls would be nice.

Call of the guild hall is a must. This allows people to socialize more with guild members. Plus, gives another reason to join a guild.

Different guild halls/styles depending on guild level. A level 10 guild hall should be tiny compared to a level 80.

Would be cool to have an outside. A yard area/outside walls you can change. Brick/wood/stone etc, changing color and trim to match guild colors + penants/flags flying outside. Can also have ceremonial guards posted.

I know this will never happen... but an armory, where you can stick the no trade fabled stuff ya get from raiding into it. You can't wear it or give it away to anyone once placed. Eventually you would have a room full of suits of armor and weapons. (Can have suits of armor be from sets only perhaps)

One thing will happen if they put guild halls out off of commonlands/antonica is the starting cities will become ghost towns like they did in eq1 when PoK opened up.

I want to see the guild halls built into existing buildings within qeynos and freeport.

I also believe that the level 80 guilds should be allowed to have their hall in the castle that is currently not open.

I do support that they should be limited to the extent that the existing cities don't become ghost towns. Maintain the Lore and Story. Great ideas. Have there been any official posts from Dev's since the turn of 2008 in regards to guild housing?

It would be nice if there was a door/portal in the guild house that took you to your own house.

Wow, in the beginning they said the world concept was just Qeynos and Freeport and the shattered lands in between. So where are they building these guild halls? Out in the middle of Buxtehude did you say?

They better take 3 trillion of each resource to build, or i wont be happy

buy the plot for a few thousand plat
harvest till your hands wear off
build a thousand different pieces
assemble

Let our crafters build up the guildhalls, let the adventurers get/buy the resources they need. the process should take several weeks and have to be coordinated between the guildmembers.

do the same for the next expansions but serverwide, let all of us build some kind of bridge into the next expansion.

like the griffon towers, but not that easy.

i heard crafters love the new epic quests. and im sure its better than epic to form a raid to build up a guildhallisle.

and i forgot: the whole crafting process should also be disturbed by weather (maybe huge waves from the sea) and mobs (dragons).

looks like the new guildisles
