That's just part of the encounter... Kodux and Zarda both will force aggro onto and teleport one random person to the middle of the room. Occasionally it's the same person for both. You can't avoid it - you just deal with it.

Re: Kodux/Zarda
We guardian tank one, zerker thank the other. Split the raid in half, tank each of them in the north and east hallways. Burn them evenly but once one mob reaches 30%, max burn it with all the dps till it's dead, then finish off the other.
On the port, we have one person calling east and the other north. When the mob ports, we call in vent who the person is and where to go. So .. "Feithen east".. I go east, till the caller tells me it's safe, then I go back to whatever I was doing. Doing it this way we never have problems with the mobs running together and we have survived the mobs porting tanks or healers just fine.
It definitely might be more complicated than the way some people do it, but it works great for us. Each to their own.

Almost exactly the same way we do it.

Re: Kodux/Zarda
Anyone notice these mobs hitting a lot harder after GU43? They're one shotting every one of our dps and almost all of our healers.

We killed it yesterday and didn't notice that happening.

Re: Kodux/Zarda
If you don't have the DPS to burn one (or superb healers to deal with the intensive damage when they get far apart in health) then the best way I have found is split the raid into 2 groups on each mob.
We tried every other method that has been posted, we finally beat them on the 4th or 5th attempt with the MT group and the mages on one and the 2nd tank group and a DPS group on the other (bruiser tanking it even!).
Took us awhile to kill em that way, but the tanks took far less damage (Cures help a lot on this too). If people are on the ball, and targeting their respective mob directly, there is no need to call who has aggro and where to run. If your target's target drops, you got aggro. Run to your tank. If your target's target is anyone other than the tank for that mob, but not you and you got ported, run it to the other tank and deaggro if you have to.

Re: Kodux/Zarda
with the recent lag-issue this encounter seems pretty much undoable. both mobs were constantly warping around and right after rescue/whatever-ing them back and bringing it back to the hallway it JUST started the next port and warped to the center. we had multiple people in our raid which didnt get a single melee hit on the mob because it was warping all over the place.. just ridiculous

That's my question too -- we have not taken this encounter down, but were very close with the split tanking in the N and E halls strat before GU43.
After GU43, we are getting nowhere b/c 2/3 of the time the person who gets ported gets one-shotted before we can do anything about it.
