You act like that's hard. I could easily see a guild fully decked out kill Druushk within 20 pulls, especially if they know the script already.

I would agree if not for the fact that so many of pulls have been lost to A.) Fear during click, B.) Adds pop, de-pop, re-pop and mezz or 2 shot a MT group healer, C.) Tank gets the random 2 shot from the named. The encounter is frustrating because you get an idea you'd like to test and then spend 2 hours wading through random wipes from bullshit encounter design.
All of the accomplishment that this encounter would have yielded when we eventually get lucky enough or they nerf it enough for us to kill it will be completely replaced by the relief that it was over with. I will hate ever new recruit we get that makes us go back into VP (regardless of how much easier a raid full of mythicals makes it). This is the first encounter I can remember spending this much time on where I truly believed that even if everyone gave 110% of themselves for the duration, victory was still unlikely.

You act like a tank getting dble poked or MT healer dieing has not been apart of the game since its launch. These are all issues that make many mobs in this game, Druushk or not, hard encounters. Don't get me wrong the pathing has always been fubar in eq2 but can we honestly expect a jesus fix for that since it really hasnt changed all that much since launch?
So ask yourself why is it that your tank is getting dble poked or your OT healer dieing..? Is it really the flaws in the game or your MT group failing to keep your MT up or your offtank failing to pick up the adds. Thats a question you need to ask yourself because your only as good as the other 23 people in your raid and if they suck at what they are doing..then naturally your going to fail over and over.

So, your basic logic is that since the game has been fucked up this long, its completely acceptable for them to introduce an encounter that combines all of the flaws of EQ2, push it to live without testing, continually "fix it till its broke" and expect people to not only do it, but be happy about it?
Trust me. We've been pulling Druushk pretty much everyday for the last week. Every time we pull it, we get a different result. We have seen it not AoE. We have seen it not summon adds on que. We have seen adds vanish and appear inside the MT group with a fear on. We've seen Druushk aggro a brigand clicking statues when we was just standing there... twice in a row. We've had all 4 clickers forced into combat... then magicly withdrawn from combat a little bit into the fight... we've had them stay in combat the entire time. Every pull we try to address the issues that led to our demise on the previous pull only to find that the issue is self-remedied the next pull, but another issue jumps to the forefront.
My concern isn't 100% Druushk. Its the direction these VP changes are going. Before, there was a luck factor involved in VP with the random double attacks. Now, they seem to think it wise to stack several luck variables on top of one another and call it a challenge. If you get lucky and the timing is spot on, there's less to worry about. That completely assinine.
How many people find the new VP encounters to be an "enjoyable gaming experience"? Harder is better, but seriously, aren't the smart enough to write difficult scripts that don't involve flipping a coin?

I was talkin to a guy last night, people in his guild have already cancelled their account and just waiting for it to expire. its crazy.
I was telling him my woes about Nexona, and he laughed as said they had the same thing... till they got to Druushk...

There is a huge difference though.
Nexona is killable, but legitimately tough. A great encounter.
Druushk is barely killable, and illegitimately tough. A fine concept, but the script doesn't work. Its like playing the goblin lottery when trying to first kill this guy without mythical weapons after last weeks patch to him.
