Druushk is barely killable, and illegitimately tough. A fine concept, but the script doesn't work. Its like playing the goblin lottery when trying to first kill this guy without mythical weapons after last weeks patch to him.

Oh yeah, they're 2 different beasts. I was just saying its pretty frustrating going from such a tough kill, then right after it to something that is just fucking retarded.
Luck should never be a sole deciding factor in an encounter.

Trust me. We've been pulling Druushk pretty much everyday for the last week. Every time we pull it, we get a different result. We have seen it not AoE. We have seen it not summon adds on que. We have seen adds vanish and appear inside the MT group with a fear on. We've seen Druushk aggro a brigand clicking statues when we was just standing there... twice in a row. We've had all 4 clickers forced into combat... then magicly withdrawn from combat a little bit into the fight... we've had them stay in combat the entire time. Every pull we try to address the issues that led to our demise on the previous pull only to find that the issue is self-remedied the next pull, but another issue jumps to the forefront.
My concern isn't 100% Druushk. Its the direction these VP changes are going. Before, there was a luck factor involved in VP with the random double attacks. Now, they seem to think it wise to stack several luck variables on top of one another and call it a challenge. If you get lucky and the timing is spot on, there's less to worry about. That completely assinine.
How many people find the new VP encounters to be an "enjoyable gaming experience"? Harder is better, but seriously, aren't the smart enough to write difficult scripts that don't involve flipping a coin?

Dont get me wrong I never said the Druushk was perfect by anymeans. Its just hilarious to me that people automatically blame hard fights on luck or coding when it reality they fail to grasp; their inability to beat a mob like Druushk is because of their own suckage.

Yup. Really really aggravating encounter and is causing many people to, at minimum, take a break from this game. The tough fights are one thing - you can keep pulling and learn more, and get better. The several random things that can go wrong in this encounter, that we have absolutely no control over, make it not fun and not even doable (except maybe with a raid full of mythical items).

They changed the encounter hours after our server was spammed with: congrats, Sony just fucked u over and handed mythicals to 2 guilds which were faster then you. That makes me want to quit. If they had changed the encounter pre any guilds had mythical, I could actually live with that only a very few guilds could get it. Then it would be worth pulling it for whatever time is required to beat it. I would show up for weeks till we get the pull were everything works out. Just cause I could walk proudly around with my mythical. Now tho? Yeah, proudly, but still bitter, and I do not know how many raiders will endure this encounter.
Will be interesting to check how many subscribers Sony actually have in some weeks/months.

Changing VP and Leviathan after guilds have gotten mythicals already is a Big FUCK You to everyone else, hard core raiders already keyed for VP but not able to get epics yet and the other guilds who want to try these zones in the future.
Ive talked to current VP raiders who feel like SOE just told them to go fuck themselves and are seriously considering quiting. The 2nd tier guilds who want to try to get epics in the future are now effectively blocked by the Leviathan and the VP changes now. Many of these people are also talking about quiting this game after being essential told to fuck off by these changes.
I think the only happy folks are the handful of guilds who have gotten their mythicals before these changes or the ones who have done it after like Paragon on Everfrost, grats on that btw, so it is possible to do, just seems like a fuck you form SOE to most folks.
Why didnt SOE make the changes to ROK raid zones BEFORE they released the epics? Seriously it makes no sense.

They did exactly that. They changed Nexona, Druushk and Leviathan with GU42, the same update that introduced Epic weapons - so.. yeah.

Ummm, Leviathan isn't significantly harder than he was before. I think the limitations on fish skins is kind of shitty for guilds learning this and the armor damage penalty kind of sucks, but he's plenty do-able by guild who can take OK and VS.

While the person you're replying to is an idiot, Druushk has been changed to become harder since several guilds got their mythicals. Honestly, it's not fair to the guilds coming after who have to kill a harder Druushk to get what the non-exploiting guilds got before the mob was adjusted to its current level of difficulty. SOE needs to tone him back down to a reasonable level.
