Err, I'm missing the secret strat here. Are you suggesting that raids recruit a brawler to angrily devastation fist the statues in the corner of the room, thus removing that part of the encounter and making it more fun (and reasonable)!?

I honestly think that it needs a tweak, too. Get rid of the statue bs, make the adds spawn from Druushk or another static point at intervals that match those that statues are supposed to be clicked at, add a bit of HP to the adds to compensate for 4 extra DPS classes or whatever assisting on the fight and voila, it's not so retarded anymore. It should be difficult, but it shouldn't rely on luck or cause 4 people to fall asleep at their keyboards.

My understanding is that they changed Druushk again last week which is what the VP raiders who didnt get their epics before the change are pissed about.

I did hear they changed Leviathan and Nexona with patch. But I find it humurous because on Everfrost server 4 guilds have cleared all of VP prior to the last update. I know for a fact that now one of the guilds ( who I wont name, starts with a K) cant kill the Leviathan after repeated attempts.

No doubt its possible but still for anyone who did not do VP before the LU and watching one of the best guilds on the server go splat on Levaithan repeatedly it feels like SOE pretty much said "Fuck You" to those who now aspire to even unlock VP.

So its a double fuck you from SOE, to the Tier one raid guilds in already in VP and the 2nd tier guilds trying to get there.

They did, but mainly to prevent certain exploits from working. In any case, I think Druushk is dumb myself, mainly because of the statues, that stuff has gotta go, EQ2 raid size is 24 active participants, not 23 or 22 or 20. Clickies = bad.

Leviathan is not difficult now. He is no more difficult than he ever was, actually, if you followed the script and did the fight as was intended. They changed it so you could not fight the mob while AFK, which is how guilds were defeating it - prior to the change it was pretty much impossible to zone out of there without your VP flag, I don't know of any guilds that zoned out of pre-patch Leviathan defeated, it was a joke. Now it's not a joke, but it's still not hard, it's probably still easier than T2, or maybe a wee bit harder, but it should be harder, it's a whole tier above.

Point is perma rooted mobs are gay if they are gonna put them in why not make it a afk snooze fest. Specially when the GAYEST FUCKING PERMA ROOTED MOB IN THE GAME was left untouched in VP where as we all know Druushk is fucked to hell and the loot sucks ass. The dev who designed these perma rooted encounters i hope is working on designing the color of the sky cause if they fuck that up i could careless
