Also, please explain to me how this is different from using Amnesia to kill Godking Anuk and Vyemm. I don't see it.

Perhaps my claim was a bit broad, but we are talking about mem wipes, not charms or damage spells.

There is a lot of precedent in EQ2 to beating encounters with mem wipe. I don't see how this situation is an exploit, if previous ones were generally accepted, and done by all guilds including yours.

There is also a lot of history with SOE designing one trick ponies into raid encounters to make coercers a needed class.

How can you say SOE didn't intend for this to be the magic bullet that gives coercers some real raid utility, and allow guilds to beat this encounter?

I agree that the coercers memwipe is a tool in our arsenal. If it can be used in an encounter, then I believe the players should be able to use it without fear of being punished.

Even if the devs didnt intend it, they've dealt with and fixed "memwipe issues" in the past. If they left open an obvious hole in an encounter, then who's problem is it? Not the players....

Coercers tend to be the ones always having this issue, which I find funny. Let's see the history of coercers on raids:

T5: Epic effecting stifle stops most AEs
T6: Tyrannical Mind bug / Amnesia for GK
T7: Amnesia for Vyemm / huge DPS charmed mobs / Possession
T8: Possession / More amnesia?!
