It wouldn't be such a big thing if we simply got more Epics/Zones to kill/clear. But since the release of RoK everything was easy ! T1-T4 wasn't difficult to master if you had the "luck" to be in a great/nice raid. After a short time, people got used to kill this or that in some kind of a fast&easy way. With the release of epic weapons everything changed, because SOE is now blocking people from finishing their DREAM of UPGRADE ! But for me this isn't the only reason to be angry. It's simply the fact that we can't kill druushk in it's current state and that we are now forced to be pushed back to t1-t3 encounters wich are a peace of cake for us ! So if we raid everyone is bored of the easy t1/t2 shit ! We saw those encounters in VP and some of them were fun, some to easy/boring and some other really diffucult for us ! Everyone of us dreamed of a tune in some way but we didn't wanted a total BLOCK ... or ... LOCK out ! We are "only" raiding 4 days a week and we ain't have enough t8 raid zones to kill for those days ! Currently our raid evening ends 1-2 hours before the normal deadline because there is nothing more to do and sometimes we go t7 because of ... i dunno ... guild lvl ... or we are simply bored of heroic instances ... and try to do something (???) etc. If there would be more to do ... OK ... but ... since LU42 there is emptiness. Just my opinion ....
Uhh ... learn ... to use ... enter

if the adds on these fights spawned automatically (and the encounter was slightly buffed in some other way to account for the fact that 2 or 4 "extra" people are now available), then they'd be challenging and exciting fights. nothing dramatic needs to be changed about the complexity of the scripts otherwise.
Except that the forced clicking the statue IS a basic part of the encounter. Plenty of mobs have adds that don't require clicking of statues, saying to keep it like it is would indicate that the statue clicking should remain, otherwise, one should logically state otherwise and to change it like other mobs with add-fights.

Things haven't sucked this badly since the OoW and GoD expansions in EQ.

At least Druushk needs to be fixed immediately.

the only thing that honestly HAS to be changed on this encoutner is to adjust the mobs hp some and fix there pathing, The adds just have a bit to much HP for a non epic geared raid. Not alot though, slowly tone down there hp and watch the live servers, that should make it to where its a tough encounter still, keeps the script that is there and makes the mob killable by non epic guilds. Nexona is fine and should not be touched. that is at least a start.

Once that is done you need to look into the risk vs reward of the avatars, To have some as ez mode and some as insanly hard yet both drop the same loot is dumb.

After that the last and this is going to be the hardest for SOE, Learn from this, Get this shit ready before you launch the expansion, Hell dont even annopuce a release date for an expansion till after its been in closed beta for a month then give a 6 month date so you have plenty of time to tweek and get stuff ready. This half working crap is getting old.

People asked for "hard" and got GoD, hands-down one of EQ's best progression expansions. OoW was amazing as well.

We asked for difficult encounters in this game's premiere end-zone, and now we got two. Alot of these same people are bitching about getting what they asked for.

Encounters such as these are EQ2's only hope for having any significant and challenging end content.

I am not saying that the Druushk encounter does not have problems. It does, but these are as a result of overarching game issues such as pathing, line of sight, and rendering.

I hope that the dev team does NOT capitulate and nerf these encounters. The raiding community may bitch for a week or two more, but left as is (and with some tweaking to the above issues) Nexona and Druushk will hopefully mark a positive trend in actual raiding difficulty in this game.

As a side note, there would be much more intuitive ways to incorporate non combat roles (clicking, if you must) to help the raid (think Djinn Master).

Are you out of your mind? Those two expansions were the worst pieces of shit ever burned onto CD.

They caused a massive flight out of EQ by raiders and almost destroyed the game. Those two expansions caused at least a third of the high end game to quit. The game went from a dragon and knight theme to aliens and space mutants. Those two expansions were in my view the single greatest reason why so many who played EQ said fuck SOE and went to WoW instead of EQ2.

I cannot believe someone would seriously claim those pieces of shit were "amazing". Only an extremely naive person or a total noobi would say that. Are you trolling, retarded, or smoking crack?

Are you fucking serious?? Gates of Discord was the worst released expansion. Speculation had it that Omens of War and Gates of Discord were to be the same full expansion, but both were separated and released incomplete. People said Omens fixed Gates, which is a 6+ month gap... that's fucked up progression for expansions.

Davram... Pull Druushk for more than 1 day with your scrub guild, then come back and act like you know the encounter.
