Yes it is VERY MUCH avoidable at healer's max range. Since when does a 10m range AE hit healers who have a 20m max range?

Definitely avoidable. The only time our healers are stunned is when they get cute and try to damage Selrach, get too close and get Concussive or one of the adds gets in a quick stun before being collected by the OT.

dunno, i killed this mob plenty of times on my defiler and always stay at max range when healing. Cant ever remember a time when I avoided it. Maybe im wrong i guess

We again got hit with Bolt of the Serpent Chief after he said "The sword has been compromised, but how?" I believe this is the aoe you get for not disabling his sword, but we did use the item. Is there a certian time to use the item, does he say something specific? I realise you need to use it once he pulls his sword out, but maybe we are clicking the item too fast (spam clicking it at about 54-55% until it fires off, before he pulls the sword out the item does not fire as it says he must be wielding his sword)?

It's a proc. If he does melee damage to your tank when he's got the proc buff up(which btw he can do since there is a 1-2s delay between him casting the buff and you disabling it), he will have that go off. ToS, Tsunami, Block, Superior Riposte, something to make it so he doesn't hit your tank and you'll be able to get by that step.
