10k DPS seems pretty close to the bottom line.

I think it is closer to 5-6k but I could be wrong. It is over a long period of time though so spikes over/under don't instantly give you the bad associated with it.

Seems to depend, killed him this past week and we got hit with the power drain... within say 15 secs of the pull - blah.
MT Coercer ftw.
I think the lower cap is around 6-8k...but I can't be certain.

You might be able to kill those adds *after* you've gotten your Mythicals, but prior to that it's a struggle to keep up with the adds and keep adequate DPS on the dragon.

Those adds also have a nasty knockback / stun. A good Illusionist can mez them all, just might need a little help right at the start getting them all locked down. Once they are locked down, an Illusionist can definitely hold them all.

Slips

Yeah, if there's no enchanter on the raid, I doubt the raid caliber is up there to burn the drakes while glimmers are still spawning (and possibly already backed up).

Dagator

The drakes only spawn once, so you can burn them down (only heroic), and do the shiny adds at the same time. Nexona will regen because while you are doing that, but after they are done, its back to the rythm of shiny add/nexona. Takes a little while longer, but once you pass that point and get the raid force geared out, it will be shorter and shorter. Taking two illy and a coercer does help but it isn't required by any means.
