While I know its been said plenty of times that this encounter is "perfect" and is fine the why it is we are having a little bit of difficulty and I would like to get some thoughts or opinions if possible (either by post or PM) if what we are doing is even a viable method. Let me start by saying that my guild is definetly not a WW guild, we have never killed any avatars, etc. We are 3rd on our server, parse between 40-65k depending on the zone/encounter/etc. and...for the most part.. have any gear that we need/want from everything below VP.

The biggest problem we are having, it seems..is DPS. We do run into issues with out tank dying from random 24k double attacks and 18k HTs...which is getting really old. But besides that...

We pull Nexona down the ramp and fight it in a corner near the hallway. Immediately on the pull we have groups 2-4 start burning the two specimens up top by her spawn point. By the time both of those are dead we know have out first shiny spawned and begin the search for it. which we find, and pull to the middle of the room (by the lava where the adds pop at 50%). We leave two brawlers up top to keep an eye on shinys that pop up there, so they can harvest and bring them down.

Two groups stay on x2 details barely surviving while group4 finishes the rest of the specimen's. Then we get hit with Spirit Slam (too low DPS from what I can tell) and wipe. If we move more DPS to the named and off the x2s we die to Spiritual Decimation (from having too many shinys up from what we can tell). We never get all the specimens down fast enough to get group 4 set up to help do the x2s or the named.

If we have the script wrong im not asking for someone to explain it to me....just say "thats wrong" or something.

Close but not 100% correct. Seems you have the jist of what you need to do... May want to think about making a sacrifice somewhere to fill a need somewhere else. There is a lesser of evils that you can give up without causing a raid wipe. Up to you to figure out what it is.

The shinies have multiple effects on the encounter, I'll leave it up to you to sort out what those aspects are. Just know that what you do during the first ~60 seconds of the fight is either going to set you up for success (albeit on a still very difficult encounter), or you're going to be in a position where you'll be fighting a quickly escalating battle of attrition that you can't easily recover from. You need to distribute DPS classes properly and make sure they absolutely have enough support in group. Also, you have the cause-effect triggers on the raid-wipe AE's a bit messed up.

Your overall strat however looks very similar to the way we killed it. And we don't have any avatar gear either.

The shinies spawn an x2 add. Pitty is just dumb on times and saying 30s=15s. Oh well. Maybe YOU should learn the encounter rather than saying the shinies don't spawn an x2 add everytime.
