Venril was very doable for us tonight. If anything, he was a lot easier than before.

OK, twice last night when my guild tried to take him down, he would AE mana drain the entire raid. The entire raid. And before you know it, over 15 adds popped simultaneously.

What the fuck?

Pretty sure we clicked the cube, but I'll have to doublecheck my logs.

*EDIT* After checking my logs, we did use the cube in time, and he power drained us anyway.

These cube thing happened for us too yesterday ...

Especially nice is that he randomly used Poison Cloud to put an secound noxious impairment on everyone in range ... most of the time right before infusion so that there was not enough time for everyone to cure booth impairments considering his short range stun ,the fear and the fact that the infusion AE can no longer be timed efficiently ...

In addition to this a a fatalism hit with infusion up now spawns an add ... i think he is much harder now

I think it is easier then b4. After last patch we killed it 2 times with 1 pull per kill.

thats not true.. not curing and getting fatalism means the player is getting hit with massive damage and power drain, but a tinkerer may be able to recover from that without spawning an add (or if youre quick with the power root)

as to the cube thing: we got that occasionally. we also on rare occasions get statues with both clickies deactivated. but thats very rare and seems to be some kind of script cheesiness

For those of you that say this mob is fixed and doable...is Toxic infusion coming on a regular timer or are you just dealing with the complete randomness of it? Cause I know the last two nights we've tried it we've confirmed that the timing of this AoE is non existant. He's doable with a group noxious cure and healers on top of their shit, but its still a pain in the ass with no timer for the AE and the dps feared all over hell.

need healers with casting speed to spam single cure (they dont have anything better to do anyways)

kinda.. not that hard tho really..

basic rule - watch your power, out of question
rule1) everyone cures with pots
rule2) when someone is feared and dotted, healers single-cure the dot asap (important: first cure noxious, then resume spam-curing fear/arcane)
