We keep getting hit w/ an AOE called Fatalisis. Any ideas on what triggers this? Is it avoidable?

imo fatalysis is triggered from someone not curing the poison effect. sometimes its bugged and it instantly hits you after poison effect is applied

Fatalisis is just like a regular AE, except if you still have Toxic Infusion (one of his other AE) on you when it goes off, it 1 shots you. If you don't have Toxic Infusion, it hits for about 300 damage.

except for the fact that it seems to be completely random. we've had it one shot the raid when toxic infusion isn't even up, and double AE toxic infusion and fatalisis within milliseconds of eachother (leaving no time to cure).

Fatalisis is not quite random ;) Not only is Fatalisis not a problem on its own... you can stop Fatalisis from coming at all.

The AOE that killed you was probably Qzxytl's Aura and it is a completely different AOE than the Toxic Infusion/Fatalisis mixture. It is a "punishment" AOE for not doing something right.... and, yes, I know it is not the one you get if you dont use the box on him.

We have killed this guy a lot, and never seen a single bug with his script. There are plenty of parts to his script that many people dont know about.

We also randomly get toxic infusion with fatalisis coming so close behind it that no one has time to use a cure pot. This even happened once within like 15 seconds of the pull. The randomness of this fight somtimes is just frustrating.

That is, by far, the most annoying part of this fight.
When those two timers line up and you are basically SOL.

Just have to revive, rebuff, and hit it again :P

Our MT occasionally get hits by "hateful concussion", which seems to be an instant targetted power drain. Has anyone figured out the cause of this one? My apologies if its something that should be obvious, but it happens pretty sporadically so we haven't been able to figure out the cause.

When we get it back to back (like twice within 3 seconds) it'll often wipe us by tank going under 20%.
