Considering this is Norrath a few hundred years in the future, How can there be content not associated with eq1? Think about it, even "new lands" will only be part of what was already there in eq1.

I understand the heritage that is EQ1, but this is fantasy!
There is no reason that another plane/dimension/land cannot be discovered. Least that way people wouldn't 'expect' content just because it was in EQ1.

Maybe they were intending it to be like an adventure pack (remember those??? Sony said they were steering away from small content additions that you had to pay for) If that is the case then Kurns would be right on schedule. 3-6 months from launch of expansion.

Personally I'd like them to come out with adventure packs, the 7$ i spent for Forsaken City was well worth it. Maybe they could include some challenging x2 content as well.

Fallen Dynasty was good, Splitpaw was not outside of Acts of War and Bloodlines was a huge waste of cash. I think Sony may have realized Blizzard gives out more content than this for free and make it progression-based.
