I totally 200% agree with your last sentence... thats where the better loot SHOULD be.. but to play devil's advocate supposedly the upgrades are in the works... As for the difficulty level of Shard of Hate... This is the way I look at it

New content should always equal a greater challenge then that already provided.... Now by that I don't mean make it impossible for the casual gamer... but please dont make it a cake walk for the raiders who want a challenge..... Besides the "Casual" gamer/raider like you state for the most part are just killing Overking... I think they got a little more content to clear before they worry about tackling something new... But on the other hand the zone will be open for anyone to try..... thats just my 2cp

Ya know on a side note to this guys I mentioned this last night in WW Swash channel... EQ2 pisses me off because the time I do allot to it, I could be playing such classics as FF3, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears but god damnit I just cant log out

Hmm. Hours and hours of 5+ mob encounters is what I'm hoping for. Millions of hp on each. Let some AE classes have some real fun this expansion. I absolutely loved the trash in MMIS. But seriously, there should be trash like the REAL Plane of Hate. Shit just everywhere and aggroing. Very few safe spots, and wanderers everywhere. Revive point outside the zone with respawning entrance mobs just inside. Close enough to aggro as soon as you zone in. Let's make this bitch like the real PoH. BTW, I'm being dead serious.

And I know who's designing it, but I'm also begging for some real scripted and original encounters. And not encounters where you're not allowed to move, touch things, cast, DPS, heal, dance, or look directly at the monitor. Let's get originality in here, and let's get some encounters that force players to maximize their abilities.

I'm crossing my fingers here.

And Roger didn't do PPR. It was our favorite person, ugh I can't remember his name atm tho. But he also did AoA. GOD DAMNIT, having troubles remembering his name, it'll come to me tho.
