Numbers really make sense tbh.. just weird that splitpaw that got medium-low population got the biggest raiding community

not to mention there's alot of other guilds and pickups that not listed on this list.

Basing it on the raid progression threads is crap because alot of people I know don't give a fuck about whether their progress is posted anywhere outside of their own web site.

You'd have to be insane to think that only 5 guilds on Guk have cleared PR.

People have very little option with regards to soloing in RoK whereas the majority of raiders have chosen their preferred mode of play freely. The same can't be said for people soloing their way through RoK content.

It would be interesting to find out the number of players whose 100% preferred game play is soloing though. Stats across a number of games suggest it's pretty popular and getting more popular all the time.

Personally, I prefer group and raid. I find soloing boring.

As for crafting... you mean like the 20 or so max lvl crafter alts in my guild whose #1 job is to supply our raiders with whatever they need for raiding?

Sure i say we count all of them and all the crafter alts in raid guilds in the raider column since the focus of their tradeskilling is raid oriented and then "compare the numbers" to those who craft because it's 'fun' or whatever.

Yah on Guk at least double those numbers doing organized raids and in VP, or more.

But on the same "I just can't help myself" train of thought, the sheer majority of better gear is packed into raiding, so if you want the better gear, that is what you have to do.

If more people don't solo, it might not be because soloing sucks, but because the devs are doing a terrible job of making it fun. Rock-paper-scissors-ish buff dependency can be a huge factor with this.
