i thought the djinn master was a total piece of shit.
maybe it was just the way we did it when we killed him, but i ended up standing against a wall for 90% of the fight.

did it take a lot of work to do? yeah, you had to do everything right or you failed. but if standing against the wall like we did was the normal strat, i don't understand how so many of you can praise this encounter that effectively removed so many people from it for large chunks of time, and then wag your finger at nexona and druushk simply because you lose people to scripting.

That's because you're a buff bitch. If you're a tank, healer, or dps you have to be on your toes for the whole fight.

No, if you're a DPS you stood there in a corner, and chilled. Adds come, tab, ae, ae, ae, tab, dum de dum. Hit maybe a hp->power spell, or transfer power spell, or whatever. Continue on with taht rotation.

I got to call out the root timer on Vent, and yes. As dps, I stood wedged in a corner, tabbed when adds popped, spammed CA, then tabbed back to DMP.

Overking, wasn't around for t5-7 really though, at least not raiding.

Queen Sendai(sp, spider queen in the... hive?) - like overking on crack but in eq1

The Tacvi event in eq1 where the tanks had to kite the mobs every 25%, that shit was fun and funny all at once.

I would have to say nexona too, just so much respect. We have been banging our heads on this mob for awhile now. 18% /flail

I though performer in demi-plane/eq1 was probly the most fun, tedious but overall fun. Guess I really am into swarms of adds and the feeling of chaos going on all around you.

Pop was awsome in eq1!

I don't understand why people list Trakanon, reduce it's size to about 30% of its current size, or introduce better mechanics for huge mobs to be positioned and then it might be an enjoyable encounter. At the moment that fight irritates the shit out of me, and once you've survived the first 2-3 minutes the kill is almost guaranteed unless someone proves retarded.

It's got some nice ideas, but it's still not "enjoyable" imo.

Sweet, I haven't seen any of those in EQ2 as the title asks.
